Oscar walked stiffly beside her, feeling her own unease, but didn't argue anymore, he knew that much was useless

Eva stopped in front of the phone store and paused. Part of her was afraid of the repercautions that could follow. After a minute she got the nerve to walk in and walk up to the counter. The moment she walked in and looked up at the man at the counter, she went white. It was Xavier with a name tag that read Toby. She pulled herself together so Oscar wouldn't notice. "Actually maybe I shouldn't change my number... Not today..." She said lightly grabbing his sleeve.

"wait what?" He said, louder than she would have liked, "no you need to get rid of this stalker creep. Come on." He insisted, starting towards the counter

"A stalker huh? We can take car of that miss." Xavier said with a slight smugness in his voice.
"Oscar please, let's just go..." Eva said softly as she tugged on his sleeve, almost like a child quietly pleading not to go into the doctors.

He frowned, an obvious look of confusion on his face as he looked Xavier over, then turned to Eva and crossed his arms, holding his stance and leaned forward to mutter to her, "what the hell is going on?" His tone said he wouldn't take lies

"Let's just go and I'll explain later." Eva said in an almost pleading tone. She peered around Oscar to see if Xavier was still starring at her, but he was gone. There was another man at the counter now. "Hi welcome to boost, can I help either of you today?" He asked completely oblivious to the situation.

Oscar didn't budge, "Eva, you're being stupid, and you look like you've seen a ghost," he looked towards where she did but didn't see anything suspicious, except that a different man was there. "Was that him?" He asked, tensing suddenly

He seemed to melt at her words, "okay," he said, grabbing her arm gently and guiding her through the door. They headed to a nearby cafe and Oscar ordered a coffee for himself.

Eva ordered a mint moca machiato with an extra shot of espresso. She sighed a little shakily knowing that there were questions about to be asked that she didn't want to answer. "To answer your earlier question, yes, and he could be listening so if you don't want to be involved then don't ask anymore questions." She said softly but blunt and straight to the point manor

He leaned back and crossed his arms again, "I don't see why you couldn't have said that sooner. Like when I could've punched the guy." He said, a hint of anger hidden behind his casual tone.

"He's more dangerous than he looks... He's threatened your whole family if I don't do what he wants... And I promise I won't let anything happen to your family." Eva said tightly griping her mug. It was warm in her hands and slightly relaxing to be holding.

Oscar only looked angrier with each word, "and that was him? In the store?" He was plotting something, "we can take care of him, Eva." His eyes pierced through hers with intensity as he spoke

"Its just me, no family, so yes." Eva said a bit more firmly. In her mind it was easier to risk just her vs everyone there. "I'd rather handle this and not drag anyone else into his little games." She added

Eva shut her phone off again. "Should we head back soon? I'm sure Bobby is at his other lesson right now anyways..." She said trying to break the silence. Her hands still had a slight tremble to them as she spoke but she hoped to pass it off as a caffeine buzz.

"I do owe him some candy anyways." She giggled lightly. The kid was going to die of a sugar rush if she has to give him candy every time she messes up. She smiled at her own thought of how much candy this kids going to milk out of her.
