"Issac has seemed to find something to keep him distracted from the constant life you guys have. He reads, we have similar interests in some fantasy novels." Thinking back to their conversation in the library. Eva was three drinks in at this point she was about 3 drinks in, just starting to feel her buzz.

He nodded, "we all have distractions," he replied simply, watching her burn through drinks while he finished his second one and bought another, "how is your tolerance with alcohol?" He asked with a chuckle, wondering if he would need to carry her home (curious if she'll bring up Isaac snooping in his room? Haha)

(I totally forgot about that tbh, so I'm been brainstorming and I'm excited for this to pick up the pace and get exciting. Lol)
Eva smiled back "I know my limits, speaking of, I don't think Issac trusts you as Mich as you trust him. I saw him sneak into your room after you left last night, unless you're hiding his birthday present in there, I'm guessing he has things he wants to learn about you that you won't tell him." She said before playfully popping a cherry into her mouth.

He shook his head with a chuckle, watching her mouth as she did it, "Nah, He crashes in there when Oscar is annoying him, it's hard to believe they're twins. My couch is more his than mine at this point."

Eva giggled at that. "I guess I'm just stirring things up, I'm sorry." She smiled noticing his eyes resting on her lips. "I'm going to use the little girls room, I'll be right back." She said standing up and walking to the back. She accidently walk out the back door instead of the bathroom. The door clicked shut and locked behind her. She was now alone in the back alley, or so she thought. Before she could walk toward the front of the bar again, footsteps and a warm breath were right behind her.
"Eva, I told you that I found you." Xavier wishpered coldly into her ear.
Eva could feel her blood run cold with fear. "But... You.. How..." She stammered out.
"I'm going to need you to be a good girl, and pretend like everything is OK when you go back in or I will slaughter the whole family, starting with the kid. Unless you do as I say my love." Xavier threatened
Eva trembled but managed to nod her head as tears swelled in her eyes. "Now, go inside and keep playing shiny new toy. Enjoy feeling special while you can, we both know you're dirt." He added before disappearing into the shadows.
Eva fell to her knees and sobbed as she tried to pull herself together.

Adrian was waiting with his fourth beer when she came back, his first button on his shirt undone, he looked up at her and frowned, immediately seeing there was something wrong, "What is it?"

"Nothing... I accidently locked myself outback and saw a rat." She lied she sat down and shakily took another drink. She kept her eyes low and focused on calming herself down.

He hesitated for a moment, "You don't seem the kind to be scared of rats... After dealing with Bobby all day," He attempted a joke, though it didn't pack much punch. He rested his chin on a fist and took another swig of his drink, thinking about starting on a harder liquor for his next one.

Eva forced a smile "your right, it was just a really big one and it ran over my foot. I'm okay now." She said ordering herself another drink, ready to get drunk and feel numb.

He wasn't convinced, but decided not to pry. He finished his drink and ordered a bottle of whiskey, "Let's crank it up a bit," He said with a sly grin

"Mr. Bentham, you wouldn't be trying to seduce me now would you?" Eva said playfully. She decided that of Xavier was going to be watching her, that she would give him something to watch.

"why, I would never," he said back, pouring them each a glass, "unless a respectable woman such as yourself would enjoy such a thing from me." He said, doing just that with his eyes, with a wide grin

"I'm not that kind of girl, I haven't even known you for a full 24 hours yet." She said wanting to be more of a chase. She took her shot like a champ. Having the slight buzz already helped. She could feel the whiskey run warm through he body.

He downed his as well, "I figured as much," He replied with a chuckle, going to poor more, "Now, whoever can go the longest wins, and the other has to tell my father how nice, and normal, this night was," He proposed in his taunting manner

Eva smiled and rolled her eyes as she slide the shot glass over for a refil. Her frame seemed small under her tendrils of long blue hair. The bar was livening up more as music began to play and hips began to sway. The music seemed to be a mix of classic rock, country rock, and sad country songs. Eva hated country but the music seemed to be whispering to her to dance. She needed a few more shots before she listened to it though.

After three more shots, Eva was drunk, but a controllable drunk. What's worse? The bar started karaoke and she was bound to push Adrian into singing. "So, Mr. Piano man, care to make another wager with me before the night is over?" She asked playful before softly biting her lip in anticipation.

His eyebrows shot up as his smirk made another appearance, "it depends on the terms," he said with the hint of a slur, quite tipsy but not drunk as she was

"Deal" she said before drunkenly starting up to the mic. "Anybody have an acoustic guitar I could borrow?" She asked, and not long after a woman handed her one from behind the bar. She tune it for a minute and began playing.

It took Adrian approximately three seconds to start bursting out in laughter at the ridiculous song, met with her sincere, and quite beautiful voice. He finally got ahold of himself enough to guage the crowds reaction (who do we want to win here?)

The crowd was laughing and singing along. Eva smiled as she left the stage. "You're up pony boy." She laughed as she plopped into her chair.

He was grinning and shaking his head, thinking he got the piano if she got the guitar, it was only fair. Once he sat up on the bench, he began playing chords that were immediately recognized, even by the older people, who began singing with whoops and cheers, along with his voice, which was decent, if not slightly slurred still.
(But with only him lol)
