She asked, holding up a brighter one that was green and had an intricate purple dragon carved into it

All she could think to reply was "I'm sorry, miss, you do deserve better from life..."
While she wrestled the hairpin into her hair, she told Ashina "some believe the hairpin is the most important part of ones outfit, and which one you chose may influence your confidence throughout the day, hopefully you may be able to find your confidence today with this one" she said with a slight smile.
