Taiping ate half of her bowl of soup before setting her spoon down, looking back up at Yihua. "Yihua, I need to tell you something, but not here. Would you mind meeting me in the gardens later tonight after dinner?"

She smiled and stood, "Thank you. I must go now, I have other duties to attend to. Take whats left of the breakfast and feast on it with the other court ladies. They've been working hard lately so they deserve something nice."

Yihua wondered around the garden, appreciating the work the gardener had put into the area to make it so beautiful, she held a flower by its stem, admiring it's layers of purple petals

After a few moments, Lu Xu strolled by with a woman beside him. He stopped once he spotted Yihua, nodding to her. "Good evening. What brings you out here?"

She jumped in surprise at his sudden voice "uh, i-uh" she stuttered before collecting herself "Princess Wu has requested to meet me here"

He raised an eyebrow, "Oh? How strange..." The woman beside him cleared her throat, causing Lu Xu to look up quickly. "Oh! This is Lady Lu, my sister. She's decided to visit the palace briefly in order to get out of her estate for a while."

"It's a pleasure, Miss Yihua." Lady Lu gave a gentle smile as Lu Xu began to speak again.
"You know, I saw the princess heading towards the astrologer's tower, so I don't think she will be meeting you here anytime soon."

Her eyebrows nitted together in confusion, putting a wrinkle in her smooth forehead "perhaps she forgot of our meeting... I will go there to see her then." She said, bowing again and turning to leave

She hurried to the tower, searching for Taiping while going up the stairs, trying not to pant

Taiping was on the top floor, speaking to a couple of court officials. When they heard her footsteps, they all froze.

Taiping turned around to face her, smiling tiredly. "It's alright, Yihua. I'm sorry, but it appears that I won't be able to meet you today after all. Please go back to the court and prepare me some tea."
