The next morning the two of them left quickly to a different hotel that Raven had found, when they knocked on the door Annabell answered with a smile on her face "good morning... Oh! What happened to your hand Mari?"

"The queen order me to be tortured and my hand got smashed before I getaway. But luckily that's all that they had time to do." Mari answered unsure if she should say anything about Anna being the one who saved her.

She nodded "it is good I got to you then, I didn't realize! Please come in" she said, waving them through the door.
On the floor where scattered pieces of paper and art supplies, on closer inspection there looked to be scribbled drawings on each one.
Standing by the TV was the man, but he looked completely transformed, he stood quite tall with bouncy dark blonde curls, freshly washed, hanging off of his head, he wasn't wearing a shirt and it showed the muscles under his dark skin that had appeared miraculously after a night of feasting. He was bent over slightly, adding an attractive curl to his back as he stared at the flat screen television with a frown on his face. When they came in he turned his head to look and Mari was meet by forever yellow eyes that peaked through his hair, "hello..." He said in his think accent as his giant grin appeared to show off his perfect white teeth.

Mari felt slightly uncomfortable under his glare. "Hi.." she clutched Lucas arm slightly. Her heart rate increased.

"where is Raven?" Luca asked sternly, wrapping his arm around Mari
The man pursed his lips slightly as his eyes flickered between the two of them quickly "my love has left for some time, she is in quite a state of..." He searched for the English word "surprise?"
"Shock." He corrected "she thought you were dead."
"But of course I am not," he replied, picking up a paper he had drawn and staring at it "though I have been informed that my children..." He drifted off.
Then he grinned at Mari again, seeming like a small child that couldn't keep his thoughts in order "I never caught your mates name"

"I'm Mari." She said adding a touch of assertiveness to her voice. She straightened up her back and puff her chest out slightly to try and seem more confident and less uncomfortable around Falco.

His grin widened "I was unable to have a proper meeting with you before," he held his hand out to her, getting an ignored warning growl from Luca "I am Falco da Vigo, you may call me Falco"

Mari ignored his hand shake. "You were the man talking to me in the cells weren't you?" Mari asked feeling her blood boil slightly remembering how easily he got under her skin.

He withdrew his hand but kept his grin "yes, though I could not introduce myself there, Laurissa wanted my identity secret, for obvious reasons"

It took a lot of her will power not to slap him across the face right there, she figured that wouldn't help matters right now, although the thought of the queen feeling the smack as well enticed her more. "I want you to apologize for the things you said back there." She commanded.

"This is my battle, don't worry about it Luca, I just want him to apologize and it'll be over and in the past." Her serious glare never left Falco. She wasn't about to sit back and be the damsel again when this was a matter she could command respect for herself.

He tilted his head at her glare, his hair flopping over again, looking like a dog that was curious about something, unfazed by her staring.
"Good luck with that. Luca mumbled
"I did not intend to upset you, only spoke of the truth..." Falco thought for a moment and looked at Luca "I explained that true love doesn't exist."
He nodded and sat down at a table, not replying

Falco's face didn't change for a few seconds before a huge grin appeared on his face "I apologize for my beliefs offending you, miss, I did not mean to cause you any grief"

Mari grumbled a bit. "Close enough." She said with irritation still ringing in her voice.

His grin somehow widens as Luca clears his throat, "we actually came to see Raven, you don't know where she went?"
He shook his head, his smile gone
