She shakes her head. "You forget. He made me family when he bit me. " She moves her hands slightly, energy seeming to move through the air, warming it. "You were abusing the artifacts with your greed. I've seen your influence throughout this world and it's not been good."

"I've been using the Artifacts for the welfare of myself and my people. And if you think my brother won't abuse them, you have another thing coming!" He attempted to push past her with brute vampiric strength.
Meanwhile, Lucifer was filling the Chalice in the Fountain, his chant never breaking.

She stood her ground and pushed the male back. Her eyes darkened a little. "Yet I saw the suffering of them." She growls slightly.

"I'll see your suffering." He aimed a full-force punch at her face, trusting the strength of the second strongest vampire in the world, weaker only than Lucifer.

She tenses and manages to block the punch but it forced her back some. Catching her balance again she turns sharply and sends a kick to his side.

He dodged, carefully moving round to Angelian's other side. "Not bad," he admitted. "But not good enough either."
He opened a flask he'd been carrying in his pocket and tossed it at her, pouring its contents over her: Holy water. "I brought that specially for you, half-vampire."
At the same time, he ran to the Fountain, where Lucifer was chanting as fast as he could, almost finished.

She tenses and stumbles back as the water touched her. It seemed to burn for a moment for the light of her angel side eased the pain and gave her vampire side to heal. She blinks a bit and looks at her arms and hands."That's a neat trick.."
She tenses and takes off swiftly to catch up with the male. As soon as she did, she didn't hesitate as she slammed full force into him. Tackling him hard.

He fell to the floor, then rolled away quickly, opening his second and final flask and brandishing it at her like a weapon.
"Oh, come off it, Brother," spat Lucifer. "We both know you aren't carrying multiple flasks of holy water. That one's just mead."
"Which of my treacherous brothers are you, then, 'Lucifer?'"
"You dare speak of treacherous brothers to me, when you are the only example!? You tried to have me killed - And for what? Power? You're a disgrace to the name of all vampires." Quick as lightning, he poured the Chalice's contents into the king's mouth. "Hear me and obey: You shall tell all the nobles what you have done, and who I am. Then you will kill yourself, painfully and immediately. Do you understand?"
The king glared at him, then muttered, "I do." and stumbled off.
"And good riddance."

Angelian got to her feet and eyed the male carefully. She watches him then blinks a bit as Lucifer got the liquid down his throat. She crosses her arms over her chest as she watches.
As the king leaves she looks to Lucifer."What did you mean by all of that?" She asks curiously.

"Exactly what I said." He shut the book. "Let's hope he does it quick, the Spell of Obedience wears off after 24 hours. But soon I will have vengeance, and my throne back. Then I can begin to fix my fool of a brother's mistakes.... With your help, I hope? We should get to know each other better first, of course, but bear in mind.... There is room for a queen."

She arches a brow as she regards him. "Not sure I'm exactly queen material." She moves her wings a little. "I'll still help you of course." She looks to her wings a little. "Still need to get used to my new strengths..." then she looks to her hands thinking of what he had said about a queen and getting to know one another. Centuries without contact. Without being able to touch anyone. Yes she had a lot to get used to again.
Her eyes flicker a bit. "We should follow him a bit and make sure he does it."

She accepts the chalice from him and nods a bit. "We'll take this a day at a time shall we." She smiles then nods and opens her wings. Moving gently through the air to follow the king's scent.

The king went to his castle and called for an urgent meeting. All the nobles were to be there within the next three hours.

She nods to him. "As you wish. " She kept out of sight with Lucifer and watched the events unfold. As they waited, she found herself thinking about what he had said and offered to her.

The nobles came quick. The king had caught their interests. Such urgent meetings were rare and this one had been called so suddenly. Could it be about Lucifer and the girl?
"Wait here, and watch," advised Lucifer. "I'm one of the nobles too. I'll be expected."

She arches a brow as she watches the gathering of nobles. The mood seemed to change the more that gathered. This was getting interesting.

"Noblemen, noblewomen!" called the king suddenly. "You have been gathered here today for something of great importance. I have a very unfortunate announcement to make. I have deceived you all. I have done things you never realized. I killed all three of my brothers for the throne.... Or so I thought. But one survives. Brother, come forth."
Amid the outrage, Lucifer stepped forward to stand beside the king. "Quiet, quiet! It's true. My brother is not the man you all thought he was.... That I thought he was. He betrayed me; he betrayed us all! I'm sure you all know the punishment for what he has done: Death. By tradition, treason and murder of the royal family is punished by a slow, drawn-out death through torture. But despite everything, he is still my brother, and I would have his death be swift."

Angelian kept alert as she watched each of the noblemen. The outrage that ran through the place at his words could be felt in the air like a cold draft. This was interesting. Though she was confused slightly. Had she not witnessed the death of one of the brothers by the sword of and angel? This was something that made her wonder but she would wait to ask any questions.

"You have heard his confession. What do you say? May I be your king again?"
"Why'd he confess?" one vampire called out. "Why not just keep up the ruse?? We'd trust him over you if he said you were lying. He had no reason to do this."
"I revealed myself to him," half-lied Lucifer. "And, knowing your trust lies in him as mine once had, I... Convinced him to tell the truth. I knew if I had spoken out against him without proof, it would do me no good."
"If he was under threat, how do we know this is true to begin with?"
"What could I do to him otherwise? Were I not his brother, I would be far weaker than him. Alright- a question only I could answer. Any of my old friends here?.... Of course there aren't. Then, there's really only one solution, isn't there?"
"And what's that?"
Lucifer snapped his brother's neck and tore his heart out, then shouted, "Run!" to Angelian and jumped out the nearest window, shattering the glass.

Things were not going as he planned it seemed. She watched carefully but started to plan her escape route. Before she could blink, Lucifer had killed his brother and the room had exploded into movement as the guards tried to capture Lucifer.
Moving as quickly as she could, she a manged to get through the door as her way to the windows became blocked. She let her wings out and took to the sky once she was out the door.
Something wrapped around her ankle. When she looked down it was a thick chain and it was held by an older guard, one who knew how to bring an angel to throw ground.
With a jerk, she was thrown down. As she lands ,she managed to keep from damaging her wings and struggled to get the chain off.
As the guards began to swarm around her, her eyes darkened and energy began to gather around her. She couldn't use it though or she would destroy the castle.
There seemed to be a stand off for a moment before the guards suddenly rushed at her. She fought them off as many as she could but as soon as she had an opening she took to the sky, summoning all her strength and abilities to get herself out of there.
She flew fast and hard until she found a safe place to land. Once on the ground, she let herself collapse there a moment and try to breath. She was too new to her abilities that she wasn't ready.

Suddenly, Lucifer was beside her. "I went back for you when I saw you were in trouble, but you'd already gone. They're going to have to mourn their king now, though, which buys us a bit of time. At least I've gotten revenge now, even if I don't have the throne.... I wonder if he really did die. Death for Originals is complicated."

She grimaces a little then looks to him. He had tried to go back for her? She nods a little. "I guess we will find out...most times when we killed one of you we took the head and heart and burned them all separately to be sure a death was made." She winces as a popping sound was heard. It was her ankle moving back into place after being dislocated from the chain. She hated those things.

"Yeah, well, decapitation or removal of heart is enough for normal vampires, among other methods. But we four Originals are harder to kill. Holy weapons killed one of my brothers, the Red Artifacts' magic another, both because of that traitor. But I survived fire, unbeknownst to my brother. Regular vampires can burn. I don't know what all can kill us."

She nods a bit. "I'm sure we'll find out if he is dead or not. " She looks around a bit then nods. "We need to get out of sight for a while." She moves to her feet, testing her ankle a moment then relaxing when she found it completely healed.
