"That goes for both of us, don't want he'd firing me now." She laughed as she began to walk him to the library where his first tutor was meeting them.

Isaac sat curled in one of the big chairs inside the library, reading a book and looking secluded with his conver covered feet tucked up under him. Neither the tutor nor Bobby paid him any mind to his presence, but he looked up when Eva came in, forgetting there was a new girl already. His dark eyes met with hers and they were intense even from afar, tucked away in his helmet of black hair

Eva couldn't help but meet Isaacs eyes. They were entrancing, like a cat in the grass stalking its prey, before she realized it, she was walking toward him.

He stared as she came close, wondering what she was doing, but he didn't move or make to say anything to her. His face was the exact copy of his twin, and if it was possible for Oscar to ever put his grin away, and hs hair wasn't bleached, no one in their family would be able to tell them apart.

"Mind if I join you?" Eva asked softly as she gestured to the chair beside him. She wasn't sure why she was asking him to sit by him, she wanted to go explore, but she seemed drawn to the boys stare a bit. All the boys of the how's were dazzling, and each interestingly different.

He frowned, trying to understand why on Earth the girl was talking to him at all, but nodded, "do you have a book?" He asked quietly

"Sort of.. I downloaded a book on my phone for the flight here.. And I didn't finish it.." She said pulling her phone out. "I figured now would be a good time while I have some down time." She added.

He nodded again, "this library has a lot of good classics too." He shifted to sit criss cross on the chair with his book in his lap

"I'll have to read some sometime. What are your favorite ones?" She asked curiously trying to keep conversation for a bit.

He bit his lip before standing, "I'll show you," he said and gracefully stalked off down to a bookshelf that was unlabeled and only half full, "this is my bookshelf, you can read them if you want just put them back." As he spoke, his eyes raked over his collection, some were brand new books, while others were worn down old ones, and the titles seemed either very familiar or as foreign as another language. Amongst the newer looking ones she realized there were a lot of dark romance and fantasy, and on the very top shelf to the right was a popular series, "The Vampire Diaries." Seeing such a book, that was generally read by teenage girls, was almost laughable coming from someone like Isaac, but he made no motion like he was embarrassed at his collection.

Eva smiled at his collection choice, she had actually read a few of them, but not so much the older ones. "Vampire diaries huh? I wouldn't have pegged you for a dark romantic type. Its a beautiful series though, I wouldn't mind rereading them again, its been a few years." She said admiring the book collection. "However in Elena's position, I wouldn't be as forgiving or trusting. You can only be lied to for so long before its enough." She said
(Remember I'm only on season 1, almost 2)

(I don't remember either but I've watched and read them. The books are legit nothing like the series but it's fine haha)

He smirked, "it depends, what if they are lying without good intentions?"

"Doesn't matter, if you love someone, you're honest with them. If you can't be honest with them, then you don't love them, you love the idea of them and are too afraid to be alone to tell the truth." She said nonchalantly.

He looked down at her, suddenly realizing how much taller he was, and he and Oscar were the shorter of the older boys. He could sense from her tone that she was speaking from some personal matter. "What if the truth will hurt them?"

"I'd rather be hit with the ugly truth than live in an ignorant lie. The lie isn't real, and I don't want to be blind to what's real my whole life." She said with just a hint of pain in her voice as she thought about the lie she believed for 4 years.

He seemed sympathetic to whatever was going on in her head, "who lied to you?" He asked softly, surprisingly gentle compared to his twin

"Oh um... Just a stupid ex... I thought he was someone else and then I discovered who he really was... A cold, uncaring, monster... Its part of why I took this job. A fresh start, nothing to remind me of my day dream of an old life." She said surprisingly not holding back.

He seemed to think something was funny, in a sad way, "you thought this was the right place to escape from a monster..."

"Yes... If there are monsters here, they're not after me... Back home... I feel like everything is after me. I don't expect you to understand. Thank you for showing me your books and talking with me. I'll see you at dinner." She bowed and turned to leave feeling that this conversation wasn't going anywhere good. She could feel that ripping in her chest all over again and wasn't about to let it win.

He watched her leave, an odd feeling flaring gently in his chest, he normally wasn't one to talk around new people, but she seemed different, perhaps because she was sad, like every female in one of his sappy books. He sighed and went back to his chair, folding in on himself once more while Bobby's teacher struggled in getting him to focus

Eva found the nearest bathroom and shut herself inside. Her chest pulled tight and her breathing grew sharp. (Panic attack) she sat on the floor gripping her knees to her chest. "Count to ten, and by the count of ten, I'll be OK to go back out there." She muttered softly to herself. She slowly gathered herself and pulled herself together before standing up and fixing herself in the mirror. Once Eva was back to normal, she left the bathroom and walked back to the library entrance to take bobby to his next lesson.

(Okay I get what you meant, but the wording in that first sentence had me going wtf?!)

Bobby was waiting for her with his arms crossed and the teacher was gone, though Isaac still sat rooted in his spot, "Where were you? I've been waiting FORever."

"Sorry kiddo, I had to use the bathroom and got turned around in the halls and lost myself for a minute." She said feeling bad for disappearing like that.

He stuck his nose up, "Fine, but now I'll be late to my lesson." He said smugly, acting as if he couldn't go to it on his own

"Not if I race you." She said putting her smile back on and doing her best to fix this little hiccup.

He held his ground, "You think I'm a dummy? You're manipulating me." But his eyes lit up like he enjoyed the mind challenge

"No, just thought we could have fun while being on time. But if you want to be late..." She said trailing off to let him decide in his own imagination what would happen if he's late to his lesson.

"You'd get in trouble for making me late!" He yelled, stomping after her
