She nodded slowly, looking back to her. "Okay. I trust you." She quickly drank the rest of the blood, setting the pitcher down.

Yumiko nodded and turned, leaving and coming back with a man who looked something like a model. Before she could look properly at his features, the overwhelming scent of fresh human blood flooded her nose, accompanied by the sound of it rushing through his veins.

He nodded to her and replied, "hi," before sitting on the couch as Yumiko stood by him, touching his shoulder like she was fond of him.

Iko thought for a moment, realizing how uncomfortable she might find it. Jun didn't exactly look comfortable either, "The safest way is to sit on his lap." She said, "don't think about it, just do it, your instincts will take over."
She remembered this time with Aika, the first person she had been involved with right after a change. How different that time had been, they hadn't known of a way of saving the people in the initial ravenous phase, hadn't exactly cared. They did however try to teach her control, by making her stop part way and calm herself down. In that time, they had learned how easy a broken neck was given when allowed to feed from any angle.

She blushed slightly, going over and sitting on his lap shyly. As soon as she had, her attention was drawn to his smell again and the sound of his blood making it's way through his body. She took a deep breath before leaning in, sinking her fangs into his neck slowly.

Both of the vampires had to fight feelings as they watched, Iko having a slight possessiveness over her favorite volunteer, and Jun staring obsessively at where Hideyoshi had put a hand on Yume's lower thigh.
The human sighed quietly at the feel of her fangs, allowing her bite with no fight, trusting either her or the vampires behind her to keep him safe. After she had drained enough for his heart to slow slightly, Yumiko ordered, "Stop, Yume."
She wasn't expecting the girl to actually listen, not on the first time tasting fresh blood, it was only an order they would work at her listening to.

Yume had gotten more and more into it as time went on, deepening her bite and sucking the blood out faster. She didn't even hear Yumiko's words, continuing to drink.

Hideyoshi's head sagged slightly as Yumiko yanked Yume back by the hair, hard. She hated being so rough, but knew it was the only way to snap her out of it. Jun flinched as his mate hit the floor, and the volunteer sat up, slightly dazed, and his bite wound healed instantly.

She hit the ground and looked around in a daze as well, blood trickling down her chin. "I'm sorry..."

"It's okay, part of the training." Iko told her, helping her wipe the blood from her chin. Hideyoshi smiled at her, obviously fine with her taking a little too much, and perhaps if he wasn't so handsome, Jun wouldn't have needed to suppress a growl. Jun helped her back to her feet and wrapped an arm around her waste while the human left, walking casually. "I'll bring someone else tomorrow," Yumiko said, "We'll continue until you can stop on your own."

Yume nodded quietly, leaning into Jun's chest. "It tasted a lot better when it came from the source..."

A couple weeks soon passed, and Yume had been adapting well. Lights and sounds no longer hurt her head, and while she still salivated at the sound of a human's blood rushing through their veins, she could control when to take the blood and how much of it.

Yumiko had nearly moved in, between helping with Yume's transition and her pregnancy symptoms, which so far had only been nausea and a lot of sleep. Currently, Yume was alone downstairs, with Jun on the phone with his father in their room upstairs. With the hearing that came with being a vampire, it was difficult not to evesdrop, but it became easier when a harsh knock sounded on the door. Fumiko went to answer it, and from where Yume was, she could only see his surprised, and someone disgusted expression that he tried hiding behind his professional mask. "May we help you?" He asked tensly.
"I'm looking for Yumiko." A man answered gruffly, sounding angry.

Yume watched quietly from the couch, seeing his disgusted expression and deciding to come up and have a look herself. "Fumito, who is it...?" She asked curiously, peering over the man's shoulder.

An angry looking man stood in front of them, towering Fumito with his large frame and buldging muscles, and staring them down with dark brown eyes. They darted to Yume and back, his face looking equally disgusted.
"Miss Ono is not here, Sir." Fumito said bluntly, to which the stranger growled
"Then I'll wait for her."
"Your kind is not welcome."
"I'm a friend." He insisted, his tone saying anything but, "and I smell her all over this place."

"you aren't welcome here." Fumito said, more insitently
"Look, this is Yumiko's house and I need to see here, we have a partnership that needs to be discussed and I do not have patience for this." He said, getting angrier. Fumito began to reply again before getting cut off.
"Gakuto?" Aika's voice flitted through to them as she came to the door, "What are you doing here?" She asked

Gakuto grunted as Fumito finally let him in, at Aika's insistence, "he and Yumiko are good friends, don't worry."
"But he's..."
"I know, it's fine." She said nonechelantly as the man stood near the door with his arms crossed, looking annoyed still. "Yumiko will be back soon I think." She said, to which he nodded, looking less than excited for the wait

She started on a pot of tea, "This is a friend of Yumiko's from a while ago, he's a-"
"What the hell?!" This time it was Jun, looking very angry as he saw Yume on the other side of the man. It seemed she just couldn't get an answer.
Gakuto smirked at the angry, smaller man, "you act as though we kill the people..." To which Jun growled, eyes unnecessarily angry, before the others face changed to one of recognition, "oh." He said and stepped back, allowing Jun to stand by Yume, calming him down considerably.
"We don't allow wolves here." He said, restarting the ordeal again.

Yume's mind flashed back to the ball, and the war that had been mentioned with the werewolves. She turned back to Gakuto. "Werewolf..."
