"Then explain yourself. Why shouldn't we do what ever we want to you?" Alex said as a rumble could begin to be heard from his chest. Almost that of a low growl.
Mari moved herself back to the back of the room just feeling in the way.

The girl locked her starved, hungry eyes onto Mari when she moved, hearing her blood pumping even from that distance as Luca wrapped his arm protectively around Mari. The girl took notice immediately "you... You have a human..?"
Raven hissed out "that is not the point, tell me why you're here! To taunt me?!"
"My... One of my... parents was human... Th-that's why you're after me so... Why..." She rambled quietly, still lost in thought about Luca and Mari together

Luca answered him "perhaps a royal had even more of a secret than he let on."
The girl had a look of confusion peaking out of her fear "y-you're not... Moretti's..?"
"No." Raven answered sternly, more intimidation radiating out of her low voice than Mari had ever experienced, even Luca seemed on edge by it "we are the ones who own America and you are on territory I have banned Vampires from, and you will be punished according to me. What do the Moretti's have to do with this?"

"Th-they hunted me... Because 'I am a stain on their pure bloodline'..." She said, sounding as though she was quoting them, "this was... The only place they didn't come..." She looked fearfully at Alex "and the wolves couldn't catch me..." She struggled to sit up with her little amount of strength

"Who are your parents?" Alex asked more calmly this time seeing the girl look like a scared animal corned.

She tried her best to shake her head "I... I don't know..." Before shivering, staring Mari down "I was only told to run when the Moretti's came for me..."
Raven let go of her and let her slump to the ground before stepping back out of the cage and shutting it and turning to go back up the steps

Mari looked up at Luca who had a protective scowl on his face as he watched the girl in the cage. "If you want focused conversation with her, she needs to eat." Mari said "so some body get her something to drink so she stops staring at me like a tall drink of water."
Alex placed the lock back on the cage and followed after Raven to see if she was OK

"I don't really have any blood bags on me." Luca answered sternly
"Human food... Works... Partially..." she said with the tiniest of smiles, and with it came a tiny feeling of recognition that Mari couldn't quite figure out what from.
Luca sighed "you stay here." He said as though giving an order before running up the steps.

Mari was alone with the girl now and felt maybe she would have an easier time getting the girl to talk. "You seem familiar to me some how, but that's impossible, so why do I feel like this." She said softly before walking close to the cage. "How have you survived all this time by yourself?" She asked.

The girl looked up at her and chuckled lightly, there was her familiar smile again, that seemed to be where the familiarity was "I wouldn't get too close, your husband almost killed me last time" but she didn't seem scared about the statement

That made her laugh a little bit more, though it was still shaky with her non-existent strength "you have spunk... I..." She grunted as she tried to sit up again, covering her bare chest with her arms "I live like any other vampire I suppose... Except I've been on the run for the last few years..." She sighed "guess it's my time to die now."
Upstairs, Raven was sitting awkwardly in Alex's chair in the living room, thinking to herself and she tapped her pointer finger to her black painted lips, "she reminds me of someone" then she grinned "maybe we can figure out who her father is and give him hell..."

"Not necessarily, do as you're told and maybe they'll let you live." Mari said "but until then, keep talking, the more we know the more we could help possibly." She added.
Alex lightly placed hand on the back of her shoulder. "Thinking out loud again over here?" He asked.

She gave another quiet laugh "ever the optimist. What more is there to say?" She gave a faint shrug before changing the subject "say, why are you married to a royal if they're all about keeping the blood pure? Your kids will be the same as me."
Raven replied coyly "imagine how much ruckus we could stir up if one of the perfect Royal sons has a hybrid child that my mother is trying to exterminate... Perhaps they would leave the wolfs alone for a time period"

"We aren't married yet... and we will deal with that when the time comes. The isn't about us though." Mari let out a sigh. "Alright, tell me about your life, everything, I want to hear your life's story" she said.
Alex shrugged "we can take care of ourselves with regular vamps, but the girl down there had a scent like humans making her hard to track. If we could've tracked her I wouldn't have had to ask for help. But thank you Raven, I hope we get answers from her soon." He said with a gentle squeeze of reassurance on her shoulder

The girl continued with her lighthearted attitude as she shivered again "I don't know where I was born, I don't know my parents, my foster mom did but she never told me, said it would be dangerous to know anything. Aside from that, normal life considering." She shrugged before her irises turned black as she tried to reach hungrily towards Mari, then back to their red with a sigh
"It's about disobeying my orders, I need to deal with it anyways or no one will take me seriously." She said with a faint growl but relaxed slightly
"What food do you have here?" Luca asked Alex then

"So if human food can satisfy you, why are you murdering innocent people?" Mari pressed.
Alex turned to Luca. "I have loads of meats in the freezer and a few leftovers in the fridge." He answered.

She gave a slight scowl and her eyes turned black again so she could bare her fangs, except when she opened her mouth they weren't there, instead there was only a normal pair of perfectly straight teeth
