"Are you OK miss? You look awfully pale." Mari said still playing koy as she softly brushed a strand of hair out of the girls face. She stood blocking her path to the exit leaving the bathroom as the woman's only option to flee.

She held her breath and her eyes began to flicker back to their iridescent red "I'm fine just...-" she cut off and half ran to the restroom

Mari waved Raven over and headed toward the bathroom before she was gone.

The girl spun quickly towards her, eyes flashing "what are you doing?!"

The girls eyes turned black again and she grinned, showing completely normal teeth, "you've made a grave mistake," she said before the flash of a knife glinted as she swung it towards her.
Then everything sped up. The knife grazed her neck slightly before there was a loud roar that Mari could immediately recognize as Luca as she was pushed down away from the girl, then before she could understand what had happened they were both gone with two piles of clothing laying in front of her on the tile floor.
"Damn it, Luca," Raven grumbled, suddenly behind Mari as she bent over to help her up "he better catch her at least..."

(Clothes? What happened to cause those, I'm slightly confused.)
Mari was momentarily dazed trying to process what just happened. "Well... I did what I could.." she said with a slight shrug before looking up to Raven. "I'm getting lectured tonight aren't I?" She said standing back up.

Raven laughed "he'll get over it, are you okay though?" She pulled her up and looked at the cut "I'm surprised someone with such lack in control would take the time to use a knife... We better get you looked at" she said before turning to slam the tiny window shut in the corner of the room

Mari nodded and stood up. "So why are their clothes on the ground there exactly?" She asked.
Meanwhile Alex picked up the girls and Lucas scents in the air but couldn't find its location. Almost as if it was floating around. Then an idea hit as he took to the roof tops.

Raven swooped down to pick up the piles and started through the door "Luca has talked to you about shifting... Right? Well clothes don't exactly disappear and reappear like in the movies."

As a bat, the girl tried darting around the trees up high like she always had to avoid the wolves, but Luca quickly caught up to her, furiously tackling her tiny body to the ground with a growl

Alex caught sight of them once he was on the roof tops just as they tumbled to the ground. He wait for them to turn human again so he didn't attack the wrong bat

Only Luca shifted back, and when he did he had blood on his mouth and fury written on his face, the girl in her tiny bat body was unconscious and he growled "Raven would be mad if I killed her...."

Alex shifted back and grabbed the bat gripping it tight in his hand. "Alright, call the girls and I can hand her over to Raven then." He said with his gruff voice

Raven led Mari out to the car again before accepting Luca's call. When she hang up she told Mari "we'll meet them at Alex's place out in the sticks, hopefully he still has his cage set up in his basement, we'll lock her up there."

Mari nodded and followed.
After making it back to Alex's house he led Luca down into his basement. "Flip the switch on the wall over there would ya? I'm putting our little friend in her new cell." He said walking over to a cell that looked like it was made of chicken wire but thicker. The cell was an 8x8x10 box with an electric fence barrier that was a 3000volt charge, more than enough to knock a vampire unconscious upon contact.

Luca did so and right before Raven came through the door, throwing Lucas clothes at him. He swiftly got dressed as she looked at the one in the cage, putting her clothes in with her before shutting the gate "so this is our little rebel... It will be a fun interrogation..."

Alex rolled his eyes and shook his head. "There you go, throwing yourself at me again. My dear Raven, what am I going to do with you?" He said.
Mari kept her head down so Luca didn't see the shallow scratch the blade left across her throat as she stood toward the back of the room.

He looked towards her before quickly shifting his attention back to the bat "why would she have royal eyes?"
"I'm assuming one of the royals had a secret affair... Though she is quite old for her to just now be popping up..."

"She's unconscious because I drained most of her blood that won't wor-" Lucas voice was cut off when the girl shifted and moaned quietly, still laying down.
Raven gave a slight hiss as she opened the door and Mari realized she was madder than she had let on

Mari glanced at Ravens hiss. "Calm is always scarier than aggression." She said softly to Raven hoping it would help herself a less scary approach

Raven laughed "you don't quite understand the power of instinctual dominance..." She said before grabbing the girls hair "what is your name?"
The girl only moaned again in response, her eyes barely fluttering open and then shut again with a look of horror on her face
Raven grunted "you drained her too much, Luca." She shook her "give me a name and tell me why you're here!"

"If I have to, I can give her enough blood to get her talking..." Mari said a little hesitantly. "But it'll have to be like taken from either needle or knife into a glass because I don't want her biting me." Maris cheeks burned red as she spoke at the idea of what she was saying.

Luca gave a short laugh that said 'hell no' "she can speak, she's just stubborn."
"P-please don't... Don't kill me..." She said so quietly the shaky voice was hardly audible
"Your name." Raven demanded
"L-Lana... P-please..." Her red eyes flickered to Mari with fear laced through them before "don't... Don't turn me in..."
