Sapphire looks to Lockhart. "Then come help me with the people until you find what it is fits you. You are still part of this council and an important part." She says to him.
The demon had followed the messenger back to Satan. He was eager to hear of the plan that the devil had for the guardian and it's council.

He sighed. "I lead the Mages' Council. That has been my job for years, and it was one I liked. But now Shalidor's returned, killed me, and taken over all my hard work. He said it himself- How can you trust someone literally nicknamed the Deceiver?"
Satan awaited him in the throne room. When he arrived, he smiled unpleasantly. "Thank you for coming. Please, take a seat."
"Humanity has always been my favorite toy," he began explaining. "And now I've finally destroyed the lock holding me here. And killed the gods, as a bonus. And I couldn't have done it without my faithful apprentice, Shalidor, who is an accepted part of the Council as we speak, and an important part in my plan.
"You see, I can deal with the Council and their armies effortlessly. But their new queen, the Guardian, has become increasingly troublesome. Still, I expected it from the gods, and it brings me to only one target.
"In the mortal world right now, there is a weapon capable of permanently destroying an immortal and all its power. And I gave it to Shalidor many centuries ago to hide. Only he and the two of us know of it. If I get my hands on it, I can destroy Red Sapphire and all her power. And that should be no problem, since my apprentice is the one who knows where it is. But I'll still have to kill her, which means I can't have anyone else interfering, and won't have time to deal with them myself. So I need you, and the rebels, and any others who will join us, to fight with me against her armies.
"I must only be with Sapphire and Shalidor. No distractions. You can assemble your armies, and I will make preparations of my own. I will call on you shortly, when I am ready to attack. Deal?"

Sapphire gazed at Lockhart, something seemed to change in her eyes. "I have expressed where i stand on this matter. I will not continue to repeat myself." She states.
The demon was unsure at first as he entered the throne room but he listened. The more he heard, the more eager he was to get started. They could kill the guardian? How delicious. He smirks and nods to Satan. "We have a deal and I know several who are willing to help." He smiled widely.

Lockhart held her gaze. "And I have made my feelings clear." He strode past her without another word.

Sapphire closed her eyes a moment after he had left. She locks her thoughts. No she didn't trust him. She didn't trust Lockhart either. She opens her eyes and nods as she heads outside to attend to the construction of the homes in the area.
The demon left the throne room and went quickly to London to speak with Matthew's mother. She would be a perfect allie in this fight.

Isabella had not been in London long at all, but already she was hard at work, making plans to meet with all the other rebels and assemble them. She worked quickly, fueled by anger. To think that her own son would become a part of the Council!

The demon tracked her location quickly. As soon as he found her, he waited for her to be alone before he stepped forward. " You do not waste time. " he smirks. "I have word from the devil himself...he has a plan. A way to kill a guardian god."

She looked up, a bit surprised, but not greatly so. "Kill Red Sapphire? That sounds amazing, but how does he intend to do it?"

The demon smirked. "He has a way. He needs a distraction though. A battle of sorts that can get them all busy and he can get to her." He said.
Sapphire had gone out and worked with the people to rebuild a lot of the homes that were destroyed. She also had done what she could to help those who were injured.
After several hours when it was close to dusk. At this time, she was now in her dragon form and playing with the children. They were laughing and running.

She looked down at her plans for a moment and added another rebel to them, then looked back at the demon. "And I suppose you're here to ask me and the other rebels to fight under the flag of Hell?"

The demon nods. "Fight the armies, destroy any who get in the way. He only needs to be alone with the guardian. Just long enough to kill her." He says.

She thought for a moment. "Just one thing. I have my own plans for their Council.... My own test. Let me do this first. It will take less than a week, I can promise that. Then, if they pass, they'll be a much easier target for you. If they fail, which I expect, then I will join you in battle. One week for my own experiment, tops. Does this sound fair to you?"

The male arched a brow, rubbed his chin a moment as he thought it over. Then nods. " A week. Unless I get told otherwise." He nods and disappeared.
Sapphire had guided the children back to their parents after night had fallen. She shifts back to her human form and heads back towards home, taking the time to walk.

Isabella nodded and went back to planning. Before the end of the day, she'd go meet most of the rebels and assemble her group. Then, they could make their list, and she would bring it to Sapphire. Then it would only be a matter of three days, at the most. But she knew it wouldn't be that long. They wouldn't listen to her. Sapphire said she would give justice, but she wouldn't truly go as far as to deliver. Isabella knew it. And when she didn't....
Well, the rebels would be more than happy to help the devil.

Sapphire made it back home but didn't go to her room to lay down. Instead she wondered the halls quietly, her mind focusing on different thoughts as well as checking with the other guardians.

She blinks slightly as she heard Alistair's voice. She looks to him and smiles softly. "Was just checking in with the other guardians and seeing how they were doing."
She tilts her head. "What about you?"

The question seemed to surprise him. "Well, I'm walking. I've always spent my nights doing this. It helps me think, and it generally always helped me make decisions, for myself and for my people."

She nods a bit and smiles again. "I had forgotten that." She shakes her head and looks to him. " The children were so joyful today...humans and supernaturals playing together without any idea of the past....if only so many could learn from them..."

There is a fine line, but she's always far past it. Trust me, I've spent enough time with that woman to know not to be concerned by her vision of right and wrong."

She nods softly at his words. "I understand. I just fear what shall result of her thinking.." She looks out a nearby window. "All I've wanted for this world is peace." She looks back at him. "Thank you for all you've done for this world."

She looks at him quietly then shakes her head a bit. "Without fire, new growth can not happen." She shakes her head. "The world needed the war so it could see what it could be. If you had not done as you did, those children would never have been able to play together as they were today. That is something I have come to realize. Your actions started this new world."

She nods softly at his words. "Yes, very true." She smiles to him. "Goodnight." She turns and heads towards her room. He was right, she did need to sleep.
Once in her room, she cleaned up, the shower feeling wonderful. Then once done with that she pulled on some clean clothes and moved to get into bed.

It took her a while to actually fall asleep. Yes she should rest but that didn't make it ant easier to do. A lot was still going through her mind.
After another hour, she drifted to sleep finally.

Sapphire woke in the morning. The ocean guardian had told her of Matthew's mother and she had instructed the guardian to make sure that the travel was safe.
Leaving her room, she goes in search of Alistair and Matthew to inform them of what she had been told.

Matthew looked worried, but more so for his mother than for the Council. Alistair cursed and began to rant: "Why would you let her pass! This is going to go badly, I'm telling you- What do you expect, a simple change of heart? 'Cause you're not getting it! She's here against us and our cause, I promise you."
