Sapphire didn't move when he stood up suddenly. She watched him patiently, still holding the good water and blanket.
She shakes her head at Hunter and holds the flask and blanket out to Matthew.

"Honestly, Matt," Hunter barely lowered his stake. "You're an idiot. It's a well-known fact that Hunters bless all their water. You're not going to find a Hunter with a flask of regular water. We do it for exactly this reason. And now you threaten the dragon?"

Sapphire sighs and shakes her head. "I'm the only one who carries regular water." She regards the male quietly then sets the items down in front of him. "Let him threaten me. It's all he does anyways. " she shakes her head. She was growing tired of arguing with the male. It was getting them no where.

She shrugs at him. "No, I'm a dragon and the guardian." She walks away from them. She was done arguing with him.

"Sit." Hunter warned Matthew. "I'm getting impatient with you, and I'm only letting you live because I respect Sapphire's choices. As General of the Hunters, I have every right to kill you, regardless what Sapphire decides. So don't test my patience further."

She heard the words spoken but she didn't say anything. She could only hope that while she regained her strength had Hunter didn't kill the boy.
She grimaced as she laid down. Most of her wounds had healed but she felt sore and stiff. The magic from the demon was always hard on her scales and today was no different.
She looks over at the pair as she lays down. Wondering what it was exactly that Alistair wanted from them by looking for his son. How could they ever get him to understand?

Sapphire was getting frustrated but she was exhausted. The fight had taken more out if her than she had realized. She rubs her head as she looks over to the two. Resting may have to wait though until they get back to the ship. She was starting to feel lost in what to do with the boy.
"Enough both of you. We will make our trip back in a few hours. I am simply asking for some time to rest unless you two want to fight the demon next time." She eyes them both.

She sighs and rubs her head again. The level of frustration was growing.
With a heavy sigh she sits up a little. "Well after a few hours of rest we can start making our way back." She looks pointly at Matthew then Hunter. "Just settle on agreeing to disagree. You two fighting each other is wasting energy and I can't promise I can stop the demon next time. He's strong and he was holding back."

Do you really think you can protect me better than the king's royal guard over at the castle? They're waiting to serve me even now."

She looks to him, "I'm fully aware of that but it takes time to get to the castle and I need to rest for just a little bit before we head out in case we are attacked again. "

She managed to get some rest. Her body was aching badly. At least she knew she could still shift though. Didn't hurt any less.
She rested for a fee hours before getting up so they could continue the journey.

Already Matthew was starting to pale. No telling how long it had been since he'd really fed. But he didn't mention it. Meanwhile, Hunter was starting to have difficulty keeping his eyes open, but he refused to take them off of Matthew for even a moment.

Sapphire moves over to them and she nods to Hunter. "Get some rest. I'll take watch and then we'll get going. " she turns her eyes to Matthew now. She could see the signs of needing to feed. That was one thing they hadn't brought with them and they should have. She moves to him. "How long has it been since you fed?" She asks gently.

Her eyes flicker slightly. "Without blood, you become weak and soon a threat to everyone, not just us." She sighs slightly then nods to Hunter. "Rest because having you tired and him need blood, we have enough to deal with as it is."

Matthew watched Sapphire warily. "Yeah, a bit of blood wouldn't go amiss. Are you offering? 'Cause I don't think Mr. Uptight over there is."

Sapphire regards him for a moment then nods. "You may take some of my blood." She says to him before stepping closer and presenting her wrist to him. "Do keep in mind though that if you don't stop when told to do so, I will shift and my scales will break your fangs. "

She ignored the discomfort of being fed from and watched the vampire carefully. She shakes her head at Hunter. "If the demon attacks again and he will, all three of us need to be strong."

Her eyes flicker slightly and she shrugs. "It's ancient blood. When I was reincarnated into this form and then reawakened, it altered my human body so I could survive in this form."
She glances to Hunter who she could tell might not be happy. "Lets get going then if you are not going to rest."
