Gabriel ran in as a blur, stumbling as he stopped from the effort of doing this with the bullet wound. One of them thrusted a burning stake at Amelia, but she caught it with one hand, smoke rising from her hand, and pushed, throwing the guard back. Then in a blast of light, she knocked all the guards to the ground, sand she went over and broke all their coms. She walked into the building, closing the door behind her and locking the guards out. "Let's go. From here, it should be easier to sneak past the guards until we reach the door to the meeting room itself."

Angelian nods a bit. She looks to Gabriel with concern. "Will you be alright?" She asks. The guards were a little more prepared than she had hoped they be.

He grimaced. "Yeah. Didn't expect those damned guards to be trained vampire hunters, is all." Amelia frowned. "Yeah, they usually aren't. But humans.... Like I said, they're a tricky bunch."

Angelian shakes her head slightly. "It's more than that...something just doesn't feel right...we need to be more careful."

"Relax. I've spent a lot of time around society lately," Amelia told her. "Clever. Paranoid. And very good at preparing when they put their minds to it. And this is their mission. Nothing out of the ordinary. Yet."

Amelia began to sneak through the building, corrupting security devices as they passed by, and sensing guards whenever they were near.

She followed swiftly along with Amelia and assisted in subduing guards. She did so quietly and efficiently. Checking on Gabriel here and there as they went along.

"I'm fine," he whispered with more and more irritation, despite clearly being in pain. He did look like his healing factor was working, though. "Alright, around that corner is the door," Amelia whispered eventually. "We come out in one strike and KO the guards, quickly and quietly. They can't get word out or we've failed." Suddenly came a blur and a couple grunts, and Lucifer stood in front of them. "All clear. Now, I found something you really have to-" "Not the time, Luci," interrupted Amelia, getting up and walking to the door. "But Jackson-" "Luci, this is important." She touched the door and it came open, and she gasped at the sight. "Wait!" Lucifer ran forward, but it was too late. She stepped in. "Jax?" Lucifer turned to the others. "He's been a double agent the whole time. He gave them the Artifacts, and he's told them you're coming. All the exits are already taken, and there are several dozen heavily armed guards in there, with weapons to kill each and every one of us." "No, Luci." Amelia was backing up with her hands behind her head. "They have him. He's at gunpoint."

Angelian wings move slightly as she saw Lucifer but as soon as he spoke, she was focused on the task. She tenses sharply at his words and then at Amelia's. She knew something hadn't been right. She should have listened to her gut. Her eyes darken a little. "Either they turned on him or they are using him as a shield to keep Amelia from attacking..."

"Or both," Gabriel grimaced. "He's a good man, assuming he isn't a traitor. I'd prefer to keep him alive." "And he is not a traitor," insisted Amelia. "He's surviving this, end of story." She walked in, hands still behind her head, and Gabriel and Lucifer reluctantly did the same. Inside were all the world leaders, along with several guards, a couple of whom were pointing guns at a very dazed-looking Jackson. "Ah, we've been waiting for you," said one man- the prime minister of England. "Oh, and Lucifer, you're here too. Please, come have a drink." "Don't," Jackson managed, in clear agony. "Pure silver.... In the drinks...." "And probably some nasty surprises for you two as well," Gabriel warned Amelia and Angelian. "Shut up, Jackson!" shouted the American president. "You have no right to ask them for their trust, after you betrayed them. This man, this spy of yours, told us all about you. Your strengths. Your weaknesses. Everything. And he brought me your precious Artifacts, too." "Listen...," Jackson began a coughing fit. "I can explain...." Amelia face was filled with rage, and she stepped toward the president until the guards pressed their guns closer to Jackson's head. "Let him go, you son of a bitch," she spat at the president. "Amelia!" shouted Gabriel. "This is a diplomatic meeting. I need you to remain calm." "Diplomatic, is it?" spoke up the Scottish leader. "Is that why you attacked our guards and broke into a UN base?" "Yes, actually, sir," Lucifer told him. "We needed an audience, and we don't have emails."

Angelian's eyes seem to flicker as she watches everyone in the room. "Yes and considering even if we came invited, you would not have welcomed us. Tainting a drink doesn't exactly speak of open mindedness." She kept her wings to her back and her hands in sight but moved to Amelia's side. "Gabriel is right though. Keep calm." Then she looks to the leaders. "Will you speak with us or just point guns at us? You have my word no more harm will come to those in this room unless provoked. We only wish to speak to you. We are not monsters and should not be treated as such."

"Ha! Not monsters. Don't make me laugh." This came from the president again. "Let's see: two blood-sucking vampires. A half vampire hybrid. And the Cursed one. And you guys have your pet wolf in the basement, of course, and you-" he pointed at Gabriel. "-are dating a witch. A witch, of all things!" Lucifer clenched his fists, but stopped at Gabriel's glare, though he himself had to make himself take a deep breath for control at the insult toward Maggie. Worst of all was Jackson. When Amelia was mentioned, he began to shout defiantly at the president, before being staked in the stomach.

Angelian moved without thought as she appeared beside Jackson. The guns turning to ash in the room. Her eyes glowing as the white feathers of her wings shined. She nods to Amelia to heal Jackson and her gaze turned on the men in the room as the stakes burned. "Attacking an unarmed man just because he is against what you say? Attacking an entire society of creatures and families simply because you are afraid of them? No we are not the monsters. I am still an angel despite my vampire half. We do not kill just because. We do not hunt needlessly. You are afraid of old ghost stories."

Lucifer and Gabriel, however, realized what was about to occur- but there was no time. They turned to run, but the Holy Magic was already filling the room, and they each fell to a wall, supporting themselves on it. Gabriel’s wound hadn’t completely healed yet, though, and he slipped to the floor. Least lucky of all was Jackson. Still extraordinarily weak from the pure silver, the guards let him go at Angelian’s attack, and he blacked out, slamming his head on the floor. “Reckless, just as we were told,” said the Chinese spokesperson. “And foolish. Do you know the extent of our power?” The American president grinned at her. “We set up all sorts of tech you mideival creatures wouldn’t understand, except maybe you, Amelia, and any one of us dies, a Tsar bomb is fired straight at your city. It would be much worse than Hiroshima.” “Extremely, extremely powerful bomb,” clarified Amelia. “Everything in our civilization would be destroyed.”

Angelian's eyes then darkened and her power shifted towards her vampire side to ease the effect of her angel side. Still she was a curse. "For what reason? What would you gain by their death?"

(Sorry, it wasn't my intention to make you feel that she was constantly screwing up. I didn't realize that was how this was turning out, and I definitely don't want it to be. I'll try to ease off on that, I only did it this time in an attempt to stick to the lore, because we established earlier that Holy Magic hurts them. I don't really gave much of a plan in this arc, I'm just sort of improvising. If you have anything you want, feel free to share; I don't want to be too controlling, I've just been trying to keep the story going.)

(Sorry if I sounded bad. I've just never had a character mess up this much and it is my fault for not paying attention to the fact she still effects them that way. I want the story to keep going. Just frustrated that I keep messing up by forgetting details and then my character looking like an idiot because of it. She's not supposed to be an idiot.)

(Don't worry about it. It's not your fault, it can get hard to keep track of everything set in the lore. And I think we're both guilty of the occasional slip up, that doesn't make anyone an idiot.)
"What would we gain?" repeated the president. "Nothing but the satisfaction of having done our jobs: Protecting the world from evil. We each have a service to all of our nations to protect them, and statistically speaking, Supernaturals, be it vampire or werewolf, or witch or, worst of all, the so called Blessed, are one of the worldwide leading causes of death, between murders and turning. You're leaders, you have a people to protect- Surely you must understand the need to remove such a great threat to our safety." "And what a diplomacy party," judged the British PM, "to include one of history's single greatest disaster causers. Look what she's done, to both of our people!" Amelia looked down at her feet in shame. "I was blackmailed. I didn't want to do it." "But you did."

Angelian arches a brow. "If your family was threatened. Would you not do all you can to protect them? As for your statistics, the last angel track that was done just a few years ago to evaluate the threats to human kind showed a drastic drop in these murders and turning you speak of. Who did your counting?"
(I'll try to lay attention better though.)

"Our sources are none of your concern. However, despite the drop, numbers were still high, and have recently been rising. And of course, as I said, the worst single problem was-" "Me," interrupted Amelia. "Correct. Your little friend here has been behind almost every large scale conflict for longer than we can track." "A good many centuries," she spoke up. "But I told you, I was blackmailed, it wasn't-" "Justice must still be faced. And not just for you, but all of you killers." Jackson groaned and Amelia flashed him a warning look to stay quiet.

Angelian shakes her head. "So you are basing this off of her?" She arches a brow again. "You realize that the biggest death toll in this entire world was in fact caused by humans. Not monsters as you call us. You start your wars with one another and claim to be clean of blood after." She points to Amelia. "She is no longer under their control." She crosses her arms over her chest. "spend time in our world and you would see differently but you are too blind to see what is already before you. Or did you not think the angels would not see your growth to power as well Mr. President. Before you mark us monsters, you should look in the mirror. I hear the pile of your victims grow daily and they are monsters."

"We base nothing off of one person," spoke England's PM. "We simply use her as an example, as she is such a good one and is put in a position of such trust and power." "You mention our wars," spoke up the president. "And believe we call ourselves free of blood. No, we are free of nothing. We are forced to make hard decisions, and to fight for what we believe in, for what's right, but we never forget the blood we have spilled and the lives we have lost and taken. But even that, as my point stands.... Wars are almost never actually our fault. We've done our research, and at almost every event leading to a horrible war, there was one person there, at all of them. Both World Wars. The Civil War. The Cold War. And this isn't just us- Even your Angel-Vampire War, Amelia set up the dominoes! But no, that's not the point of this, it's not about her. It's about all of you, and the pain you've caused. Lucifer, how many lives have you taken? Gabriel? Angelian? Not to mention all of your people, and your pet wolf, and those witches- Supernaturals like you are a plague on us."

She gazed at each of them in the room. "A plague?" She nods, moving her wings gently. "So you will kill innocent children? Innocent lives? People who have not done anything in which you claim and you will condemn them just because of what they are." She shakes her head. "I will never claim to be clean of blood. Even during the wars I was in though, I made sure, those who surrendered survived, those of innocence survived. You wish to blame her for all that has happened? Then why did you not protect your people? Instead you destroyed one another. Your desire for blood and destruction is always hungry and eager for more, all you've ever needed was an excuse to satisfy it. I've watched the start of man and have see all that you do to one another with no provocation from anyone or anything." She shakes her head. "This earth suffers, it's forest destroyed, homes to it's animals taken away, all for your own selfish desires. We are no more a plague than the bacteria in this room."

"Innocent Supernaturals is an oxymoron," the PM persisted. "And you misunderstand- We don't blame everything on her. We're just pointing out that we aren't savages, that we do not wage war unprovoked." "And," added the president, "now you're talking to us about nature. Of all things, nature. I never knew blood suckers were environmentalists!" This received a couple laughs, but also a couple sideways glances. "Let's not get too far off topic." "Agreed, let's not." Gabriel stepped forward. "Mr. President, I see now where you're coming from. We're both just trying to protect our people. You're afraid, and you believe that we kill too many of your people. And we have the threat of nuclear bomb being dropped on our home. I don't think either of us truly want war-" "But we already have it!" insisted Australia. "Just in the last month, over a quarter of our deaths were of supernatural causes. It has to end!" "With all due respect, sir, the city you're planning to bomb is not involved in that. None of those citizens live in Australia." "But they follow you. All those cities of vampires take their orders directly from you, and when they wipe out mine, it shows that you allow that."

"Most countries here have the same problem," explained the Scottish. "Attacks from all kinds of Supernatural, above all vampires, becoming more common and more severe rapidly. In the rare case that one is captured and questioned, they insist that they're only hungry." "Which would be fine if they wanted burgers," the president concluded, "but obviously they don't." "I'm very sorry about that," diplomacised Gabriel. "Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about the other Supernaturals. I'll take a look into the vampires outside my city and put a stop to this, I promise you, if you will let me. Don't bomb the city; it won't end anything. Let me be diplomatic with my subjects, they will listen." "What you need," said the president, "is a functioning law system. From what your traitor told us, you have laws, but outside the capital enforcement is horrible. I would be willing to give you one month to stop vampire-caused fatalities worldwide, and then discuss with you stopping the other Supernaturals." There were nods of agreement. "Under the condition," he continued sternly, "that we keep a bargaining chip. Someone important to you, as a little incentive to make sure you don't attack us again." "You're not keeping Jax." Amelia stepped forward to stare him down. "The traitor? Of course not." The president looked back to Gabriel. "He's on you. Everything he's done has been treason to you, so leader to leader, I suggest you punish him accordingly, with the death sentence. But I want to keep a Hearth. Any of you siblings, or Angelian." "I'll stay," Amelia and Lucifer said at once. "No, I will," Raphael contradicted, followed in by a silent Michael. "A lot of volunteers," noticed the president. "Make your decision, and the rest of you can take Jackson and leave."

Angelian listened carefully. This wasn't a good thing. Vampires becoming hungry. Something must have changed drastically for such numbers to begin attacking like this. At least that has been how it was in the past.
She as well offered herself.
Then she looks to the others. "I'm of no use to you in this matter. You need all of you working together on this. Let the vampires see the the family united. I will stay."

"There is no chance in Hell I'm leaving you here, Angelian," Lucifer responded immediately. "None. Besides, you're a hero to the people. You helped prevent a civil war. Plus, you're already a perfect symbol of unity and peace between vampire and angel. Why not add human to the list?" Amelia shook her head. "Lucifer, you're not staying either. Angelian's right, they need the family. That includes her. But me? The people don't know me. They don't respect me. I mean nothing to them. Why should they listen to me? Besides...." She shrugged. "I'm no good at stopping violence. Only starting it. The president is right, I've caused a lot of damage. Perhaps this is another step in making amends." "No," Raphael looked at her sternly. "Not true. None of that is on you, and you're a better peacemaker than you think. You were always the family's peacekeeper. We fell apart only because we lost you. If you want to make amends, do it out there, helping. And both of you are wrong- It's not the family they need, it is above all the leaders. The three people in charge of the community, who share the thrones. Lucifer, Gabriel, Angelian. But not me. My purpose has always been to live and die for you, my family. I'll wait here for you if that's what it takes. I wouldn't have it any other way." "All of you, shut up," Michael barked. "That's enough sacrificial bullshit. There's no reason anyone should be forced to stay. The human is being unreasonable." "I hate to say it, but he's being completely reasonable," Gabriel debated. "He needs a guarantee that we don't turn on him and send our people after theirs. He needs to k ow he can trust us. This is how."

Angelian nods slightly as she looks to Amelia. "I agree with Ralph. You being out there is better than you staying here. You are not a person of destruction by choice. You are a great part in helping with this." She nods again. "Unfortunately I do agree with Gabriel. As a sign of good faith and trust, someone does have to stay and we need to make this choice quickly."
