"oh yes, he'll love it," she says with a grin, yellow eyes twinkling

Yume giggled. "I think this is all I want for now~"

"okay~!" She turned to Mrs. Osakabe, "how much for these four?"she asked nicely

[HerWhisperIsTheLucifer]

"Well, let's see... These are all fairly nice kimonos, three of which are made out of silk... The total comes out to be about $450."

Aika quickly paid the lady, "thank you, miss, I hope to see you again~!" She said before picking up all four to take to the carriage before they continued

Yume gave a quick wave to Miss Osakabe, following Aika out.

Once she dropped the clothes in the storage space, she turned back to Yume, "where to now?" She said with a little giggle

"We could go have some lunch~! There's a really good cafe just around the corner."

"that sounds good," she said happily, trying to remember how to sounds enthusiastic for food like she had been years ago.

They began walking down the street towards the cafe. With her hearing, Aika heard a commotion on it's way towards them, something like a runaway horse and carriage, but paid it no mind. They were safe on the side they were on, except just before the carriage reached the intersection, before being presented from behind a building, and before most people could hear it coming, Yume stepped out onto the street to cross to the other side.

"Yume, wait!!" Aika yelled as the horses were nearly on top of her already. At the very last second, faster than any human should have been able to get to the girl, Aika was shoving her further into the street hard enough that she skidded into the other sidewalk. The horses did not stop, trampling the tiny servant girl under them before skirting around the next buildin, leaving Aika broken and crumpled on the street.

Yume hit the other side of the sidewalk in a daze, blinking and confused as to what had happened so quickly. She saw the horse carriage zoom away from her, and only then did it click in her head. She sprung up from the sidewalk, hurrying over tot he servant girl. "Aika...!!"

"aah..." She groaned, on of her legs was bent backwards and it dragged painfully against the ground as she tried to sit up. Her forehead was split open, there were huge rips in her kimono, and her arm was broken with the bone pitruding from her pale skin, "Fu-Fumito..."

Before she was finished saying his name, the Butler was there, kneeling over her and examining the scene. Somehow he seemed to know exactly what had happened, even though he wasn't around to witness it.

Yume blinked, examining all of the girl's injuries briefly. "H-How are you moving so easily...? How did you push me out of the way in time?"

"do not worry about that, miss Morioka, we must get Aika home now." Fumito said gently, lifting the small girl in his arms while she cried out in pain, heading towards the carriage

"I... I don't want to go. She shouldn't even be alive after that, or even conscious!"

He turned to her briefly, "come to the carriage with us then, but please hurry miss."

Yume thought it over briefly before sighing, crawling into the carriage obediently.

Fumito gently set the whining Aika down in the seat and brushed his hand through her hair quickly before leaving to get the horses going. As the carriage began it's bumpy ride she groaned again. While her limbs were still mangled, her other cuts and bruises seemed to be less severe then before. "I hope he is... Hurrying..." She grunted

Yume said nothing, watching Aika silently as her mind worked at a million miles per second.

When they got to the mansion the Butler picked Aika up again, and Jun opened the door by the time they were headed up the steps, his face twisting in worry when he saw his servants together, "what happened??" He asked before they got through the door

Yume followed quietly behind them, staring down at the ground. She didn't look at Jun as she spoke. "Aika was trampled by horses..."

"o-oh." He seemed concerned, but not nearly as much as he should have been while Fumito carried Aika away into another room, "she will be okay, we should get you home now," he said calmly, taking her by her shoulders

"How can you be so calm?! She could have life threatening injuries from this...! I mean, look at her!"

He looked around above her head, thinking, "Aika is very strong, Fumito will take her to a doctor and she will be fine, I promise." He tried to reassure her, rubbing his hands over her shoulders lightly

"Strong? She's so small." She looked up at him, eyeing him carefully.

"I know, but..." He sighed quietly, "she'll be okay, please just trust me and Fumito." He said, turning the full attention of his red eyes to her

She continued to eye him carefully, not saying anything as they began to walk to her home.

Jun was shaking his head, trying to think of what to say. It was obvious Yume wasn't buying anything, but he had to give hey credit for not freaking out. He knew he shouldn't have gotten her involved in his life from the get go. "I'm sorry for your shopping day getting ruined..." He said, not knowing what else to say.

"I'm not worried about my shopping day, I'm worried about Aika. You will keep my updated on her, won't you?"

He bit his lip nervously, then nodded, knowing he couldn't tell her that the girl was probably already back to her normal state. His mind was racing a thousand miles an hour, fighting between what he should do and what he wanted to.

She was quiet the rest of the way home, her eyes on the ground as they walked.
