He smiled against her lips and left quietly, letting her sleep while he discussed with Yumiko more, always growing more worried as she slept longer at a time

She slept the rest of the day away and all of the morning, waking up during the later hours of noon. When she woke up, she put a hand on her stomach, groaning.

Yumiko came to check on her quickly after, hearing her from downstairs, "are you alright, Yume?" She asked as Jun came in as well

"Yeah, I just don't feel too well." She smiled reassuringly. "But I'll be fine."

Iko's eyes traveled to her hand on her hands on her stomach, "on your stomach?" She asked, knowing heart pain was always in the chest

She nodded. "I feel nauseous and queezy... Maybe some tea would help? Or a bath?"

She gave a concerned look and nodded, "I will have Aika make some tea, are you hungry?" She asked, bending next to her to listen to her abdomen while she replied

She shook her head quickly. "Food sounds like the least appetizing thing right now..."

Iko frowned and pushed the side of her face into the girls stomach before closing her eyes and standing back up, "Yume... I..." She took a breath, "let's get your stomach settled and then talk about future actions," she said gently before turning to leave.

Jun looked after her, wondering what had bothered her. He squeezed her hand gently, "I'm sure it's okay.."

"I hope so... The last thing I need right now is to be sick in some way."

Yumiko came back a little later with tea and waited for her to drink it before telling her bluntly, "You're pregnant."

Jun nearly choked, his eyes going wide in disbelief. Iko seemed like she would have been happy if not for the worry in her features.

"Pregnant...?" Happiness flooded into her eyes quickly and looked at Jun, though worry soon flooded her eyes as well. "Oh... But how will that work with my heart...?"

Yumiko sighed, sounding like she would rather not give such news, "I worry that continuing with this plan may put your child at risk, but..." she thought for a moment, "I believe we could turn you without it affecting him or her. It will be a risk, but the chances are greater that way..." She said, hoping the Yume would understand the predicament she was in

She was quiet for a moment before looking down. "Tomorrow. You can turn me tomorrow."

Jun let out a breath of relief, one he didn't realize he had been holding, "You're sure?" He asked, though his voice said he was happy with the decision.

"That would be the best choice for your baby, otherwise I would not pressure you, Yume," Yumiko told her, sounding slightly apologetic, "Children are such a blessing, I would not like to risk this one..."

"I understand, Iko-Chan. I don't want to put our child at risk either." She smiled, though there was a hint of sadness behind it. "This is the best choice."

Yumiko nodded, sadness reflecting hers, "it will be okay, you have all of us to help you through the transition..."

"I know. I'm not worried about that." She looked to Jun, hesitating slightly before speaking. "Should I tell my father that he's going to be a grandpa...?"

"Only if you want to," he answered, smiling gently at her, though the thought brought up a new worry as he turned to Yumiko, "Will... Will the baby turn too?"

Iko thought for a moment before shaking her head, "There's no way of knowing..."

Yume looked down. "As long as we will both live, I am fine with it."

Jun nodded, though he didn't seem any more at ease, "If they aren't, we will have to hide them from my family..." He said, not sure how they would pull such a thing off forever. When it was only Yume he was able to be comforted by the knowledge that she would be turned soon, but with children...

"I can help with that," Yumiko said, "Do not worry about it for now, it is unnecessary stress on her." She said, her voice gentle in understanding. She ran a cool hand over Yume's forehead, "Do not worry, I will help you through this." She said, sounding more confident now that the decision had been made

Yume nodded, a hand still on her stomach. "You know, I've never really thought about being a mom, but now that I'm going to be one, I'm super excited." She giggled.

Iko smiled brightly, "You will make a great mother," She said, patting Jun's shoulder, "And he will be a good father once the shock wears off," She continued with a teasing laugh at his blank face. At her words, Jun finally smiled.

"I-I'm sorry, it's just hard to believe..." He said happily, taking her hand so that he could lean over and listen, his face pinched in concentration, "I don't hear anything..."

"It is difficult to hear unless you know what to look for around the rest of the noises in her abdomen, once it is larger it will be easier."

Yume moved her hand from her stomach to Jun's head as he listened, running her fingers through his hair. "We're going to have a baby..."

He chuckled, kissing her stomach while Yumiko turned to give them space, "Would you like more tea?" She asked quietly

"Yes, please." She said just as quietly. "Thank you, Iko."

Iko nodded and left to prepare it, leaving a nearly speechless Jun staring at her belly, a small smile on his lips

Yume watched his expression for a while before giggling. "You're excited too, huh?"

He nodded, "Worried, but... I've never thought of the possibility of being a father... It's exciting knowing I can be."

Yume nodded happily, quickly taking him in a hug. "We'll be parents~"
