He chuckled darkly, hearing her heart rate speed up already, but not enough to concern him yet, he took her gently again, keeping his focus half on her heart beating and half on her pleasure, making up for the time spent in the uncomfortable carriage, and refreshing her Mark that had healed up into a scar during the time

By the time the two had finished, she was completely exhausted. She had enjoyed it, but now all she wanted to do was lay down and sleep for days. She leaned against him. "That was anazing, Jun..."

He kissed her cheek contently and pulled the drain on the tub, "I'm always happy to hear that," he said as he helped her out, sensing her exhaustion, "let's go sleep now."

She nodded, leaning against him heavily as she got out of the bath. She dried her body off and wrapped her night time kimono around herself loosely, smiling to Jun tiredly.

Jun clothed himself quickly before picking her up and carrying her towards his bedroom, seeing her in the bed again with a kiss on the forehead

She grinned up to him. "I could have walked here, you know..."

"I know, but I wouldnt miss an opportunity to spoil you," he replied, teasing as he laid next to her

She smiled softly, snuggling into him and closing her eyes. She fell asleep quickly, like she usually did these days, and slept well into the morning.

He slipped away once she was asleep, not feeling tired himself, and went downstairs to speak with Yumiko

(I'll let you control time skips for this if you want, perhaps to when they find out she's pregnant? She would start having nausea and maybe vomiting around the time a heartbeat would be heard)

(Alright, I'm gonna skip to a few days before the symptoms show up. She's gonna be a lot weaker now.)

Yume woke up in the late morning like she did every day, the dark, tired circles feeling in their color more and more every day. She was as white as a ghost by now, and thinner than she had been before. She rubbed her eyes and weakly stood, wandering downstairs.

Yumiko was working in the kitchen on something to eat and paused to go to her, helping her sit on the couch that was loaded with pillows for her. She leaned to listen to Yume's heart, growing weaker every day, "Yume, I must express some concern... I worry that your heart may give out at any moment... Perhaps even when we are asleep and cannot change you in time..."

"But I feel fine." She protested. "I haven't been stressed lately either. I've been so relaxed..."

She thought for a moment, "have you been feeling pain still?"

"Well... Yes, but I'm fine. Please don't worry about me, not just yet..."

"... Very well, but either Jun or I will begin monitoring you in your sleep." She conceded, brushing her hand through the girl's hair, over the days she had become quite a mother figure to her, though neither acknowledged such a thing

She nodded slowly, "Okay, that's fine with me. Now what do I smell? It's delicious."

Yumiko quickly brought out the breakfast she had prepared and sat it in her lap, watching her eat and observing her thinness, "where is your food going to? You have been eating a decent amount..."

She shrugged. "Maybe it's just a fast metabolism..."

Her mouth screwed up to the side, that didn't make any sense, but she didn't say anything else, just say with her and ate her own food

She ate the food quickly, sighing softly. "Where's Jun?"

'He went to feed," She answered, "He has been pushing himself too hard, trying to avoid it."

She nodded. "What does blood taste like? It's been on my mind and I should know if I'm gonna be one of you..."

She thought for a moment, "I'm not sure I could describe it properly to a human... I imagine it tastes better when you're one of us, it's a bit metallic but in a really good way..?" She struggled to find words, "And it depends on the person, some people are more salty, some sweet, if they're drunk it's got a pretty gross after taste but..." She shrugged, "We'll get you some stored to drink when you're turned so you don't accidentally kill anyone, new vampires tend to go into a frenzy."

She looked down. "I don't want to turn into a monster... I see how hard Jun struggles to control himself, and I don't blame him, but I'm scared of hurting someone."

"We wont let you hurt anyone, Yume." She said gently, forgetting how casual she was being for such a subject, "We will teach you, as we have taught others before..."

She nodded slowly again, "I'm scared I won't be me anymore. I don't want to lose myself..."

She gave a faint smile, "You would never lose yourself unless you wanted to," She took her hand in both of her own, "Aika didn't change one bit, aside from becoming happier... You don't have to become one of us if you do not want to, it is a lot to lose your humanity, but you wouldn't be any less Yume if you did." She explained, trying to comfort her

Yume listened to her quietly, moving in to hug her as she talked. "I trust you..."

She hugged her back, rubbing her back gently, "Perhaps Aika would be a good person to talk to, because I didn't experience turning myself... It may help putting your mind further at ease..."

She nodded, looking up at her. "Where is she now...?"
