Freya nodded quickly, and bowed awkwardly to the teacher. "I'm Freya Erikson... thank you for being willing to speak to me in English.... I promise I'll improve my Japanese as quickly as I can."

She smiled cheerfully as the other students poured in. "I trust that you will. I picked up some of the books we've been studying for you." She handed her a stack of three classic Japanese texts. "You will have to catch up on your own time, but be sure to pay attention to the lessons regardless."

She nodded quickly and looked down at the books, then smiled to the teacher again. "Thank you very much. I'll do my best to catch up as quickly as possible!"

Freya quickly sat, taking notes as best she could. Though she was overwhelmed by the pace of the class, she still felt like she at least got something out of it by the time the bell rang to signal the end of the period.

The woman gave her another quick smile before sitting at her desk.
Meanwhile, Harima-Sensei was looking through a stack of graded papers when she came in. He looked up to her and nodded as he made eye contact. "Ah, Erikson. I'm glad you managed to find my class so easily."

"Actually, yes. I have you seated in the only remaining empty seat in the back row, right corner." He chuckled. "It worked out pretty well too since you're next to one of the best English speaking students in this-"
"Sorry I didn't get here sooner, sensei!" She was a fairly beautiful student, being taller and thinner than most of the other girls. She had long dark brunette hair and happy looking black eyes. She smiled nervously as she straightened her uniform up. "What is it that you needed to talk to me about?"
Kyosuke grinned. "Speak of the devil..."

Freya nervously turned to look at the other girl, smiling anxiously. This was the student he was talking about, right..? So maybe... maybe they could be friends? She remained quiet as she looked between the girl and Harima-sensei.

"Erikson, this is Takano Akira. She's going to help you along in the class when I am unavailable."
The girl, Akira, turned to looked at Freya, smiling. "It's a pleasure to meet you. I will help in any way that I can." She bowed politely.
