Meanwhile, James lounged back in his dorm, studying a bit here and there, having some lunch, and napping. He set an alarm for 6:15 so he would have time to get up and shower before heading back over to the cooking club.

Julie arrived at the kitchen ten minutes before seven, carrying several large bags of groceries. She set them on the counter, then nudged Posy, who had fallen asleep there, to wake her. Posy groaned softly as she opened her eyes.
"Julie...? Did you get everything...?"
"Yup!" the taller girl replied cheerfully. "Also, the spaghetti sauce recipe was kinda vague about what kinda meat substitute to get, so I just did my best, okay?"
Posy nodded sleepily, then yawned, "That's fine..."

James arrived about ten minutes before seven, dressed in a pair of dark jeans and one of his favorite hoodies. He opened the door a bit shyly before smiling. "Hey, I'm here~"

Posy smiled and waved, hopping up from her seat. "Glad you could make it~ James, this is Julie, our VP!"
Julie grinned, a mischievous glint in her eye, and extended a hand to James. "Nice to meet you."

He smiled again politely, shaking her hand. "Nice to meet you too. I'm really excited about tonight."
Another member of the club, a shorter guy with long black hair that covered his eyes, came over and extended his hand. "Glad to have you. I'm Damon, another member here."
James shook his hand as well, not catching the mischevious glance that Damon threw to Julie.

"So~ I picked out some vegetarian options that I think should be really tasty! We have a spaghetti sauce with meat substitute, which Julie and Damon are making, and we also have bell peppers, asparagus, and onions to roast to go with the pasta, and to finish it off, brownies~" Posy explained excitedly.

He shook his head. "Not at all. I would like to help in any way that I can~" He grinned happily, pulling out a knife to chop the veggies with.

Julie quickly unpackaged the "meat substitute" and began to cook it quickly, grinning at Damon before smothering it in tomato sauce and spices.

Posy quickly pulled out a cookie tray and olive oil. "James, we're gonna roast these in the oven while it preheats to bake the brownies~ Lay out the pieces on here and drizzle some of the oil on, then put it in the oven."

He nods, drizzling the oil on then putting it in the oven, as instructed. He grinned happily.

Posy smiled back at him and finished up making the batter, then poured it into the pan. "Once those are done roasting, we'll pop this lil guy in~"

Soon the veggies and sauce were done, and Posy and Julie worked together to dish everything up. Posy then put the brownie she in the oven and set a timer.

He quickly wolfed the rest down, enjoying the meal that reminded him of his mother's cooking. "That was amazing..."
