Tears came to her eyes as she screamed in reply, "I came to you because I needed help! I don't know the first thing about what it's supposed to be like to be a damn kitsune or how the hell I'm supposed to raise one!! You're being ridiculous!"

Shino's jaw dropped and she just watched him leave in shock. At first she was just angry, but then the anxiety started to set in. What if he didn't come back? What if she drove him away? She couldn't do this alone. As her mind raced, her airways started to close in on themselves, and she struggled for air. No matter what she did, she couldn't seem to take a proper breath, and soon she felt herself drifting from consciousness as she collapsed to the floor.

Juri came over later that night, knocking on the door. "Shino? Mako? I think we left Mimi's favorite blanket here and she can't sleep without it."

Shino did not stir. Her face was pale, and her lips were a sickly shade of blue. In the other room, Hime was screaming at the top of her lungs, as was Hina.

Juri began to panic, running to go get the two babies. "Shino, wake up! They need you!"

Hime reached desperately towards her mother, but Shino still did not wake up. Hina buried her little face in Juri's shoulder and continued to cry.

Hime crawled desperately towards her mother, and Hina followed after her. Shino continued to be unresponsive, and her heartbeat had already slowed down to a crawl.

Juri began to cry, her tears falling onto Shino's face. As she cried, Shino morphed into an older woman, someone who was clearly dead. She cried over this woman too, though she couldn't see their face and she didn't know who she was. Hime's cries turned into the cries of another unknown baby and Juri found herself in another home entirely. The vision lasted only a moment before she was back in Mako's home, her heart beating quickly.

Shino struggled to take a shallow breath. Still unable to move, she couldn't hold Hime properly, and so the infant kitsune flopped down on top of her and grabbed at her hair desperately.
