"perfect." She says and pushes open the door, checking that no one is around before stepping out, waving Oeyo out as well. The palace is completely empty except for a dark, male figure leaning again the wall by the door, with a dark cloak covering his face as well

Fear overtook Oeyo and she couldn't move from the door. "Your highness, I... I don't think I should be doing this."

He moved towards the two of them until a familiar grin was visible from under it, "thank you, Empress." Ichiro said with a quick bow before holding his hand out to her, he hadn't heard her concern. Empress Fujiwara turned her face back to Oeyo, "you don't have to, dear, though I think someone would be disappointed..." She said with a sly smile

Empress Fujiwara looked sternly at her nephew, "now you have her back in an hour, Ichiro, and not a minute later." To which his smile broadened
He bowed again, "of course, empress." He told her before she turned to go back inside, as his hold on Oeyos hand tightens, "come, this way." He says mischievously, dragging her around the corner and out of sight from the palace. (If she wants to get nervous after they sneak out that's fine lol, he'll have patience)

She stayed quiet as she allowed him to pull her with him, becoming extremely nervous.

Directly behind the building was a gate to outside the palace, only used by servants, and it was locked. Ichiro let's go of her hand for a moment to pull something out of his pocket, it looks like a very small scalpel, and behind messing with the lock before the bolt makes a sound and he grins again. As he pulls open the gate he holds his hand out again

His eyebrows furrow in confusion but he doesn't speak until they are through the gate and it shuts behind him, they begin walking through the forest behind it, "are you cold?"

He stops abruptly and turns to her, eyes showing innocent curiosity "what's wrong?" He asks, as though what they were doing happens every Sunday

He pursed his lips for a moment as he thought, then shrugged "because I enjoyed your company and wanted to see you again." Then he grinned down at her, "there's a town very close this way, through the Forrest."

His jaw drops open in surprise "oh~! Oh my, I'm so sorry..!" He shakes his head, frustrated with himself and starts stammering "I didn't know- if I knew I wouldn't have... I've been so abrupt- I just assumed-..." He takes a deep breath and looks at her again, apologetically "I am very sorry, please take your time to feel better... Do you want to go back..?"
