She stumbled forward slightly but held onto him gently as they walked along.

They wondered through until it got dark and she was waved down by Fukumi that it was time for the Empress to leave.
"I'll follow you so I can speak with the Empress now," Ichiro said, turning with her towards where his aunt was waiting by the carriage

She nodded, walking back to the carriage with him.

He has an extremely smug face when they get to the carriage and he bows to the Empress again,
"Ichiro," she says, surprised that he was still with Oeyo, but she doesn't say anymore.
He pulls her off to the side to speak with her where they converse quietly and the Empress nods, smiling as he looks excited about whatever she has agreed with. He walks her back to the carriage and bows again before turning and bowing to Oeyo as well, "until I see you next, miss Kobai."

"Thank you for spending the night with me, Sir Fujiwara." She gave a quick bow before sitting back in the carriage.

He has a happy grin on his face as he watches the woman pack into the carriage, helping his aunt up after them, she seems to be sharing a secret with him in her barely-there smile. Once they started off towards the palace she spoke to Oeyo with a chuckle, "I pray my nephew wasn't too bothersome for you tonight, miss, he is quite a child when he wants to be"

She leans closer to speak privately with her "I do think he likes you, miss, he doesn't normally pay any mind to the females that fawn over him." she tells her before winking and sitting back up, inserting herself into what the other ladies were speaking about.

Oeyo went quiet, looking back out of the window again. She wouldn't say another word until they got back to the palace.

Once they got back into the palace the Empress asked "are you okay, Oeyo? You've been very quiet"

More days pass and it is now late Sunday and most of the servants and ladies are getting prepared for bed as Fukumi finds Oeyo, "miss Kobai, the Empress is requesting you in her room."

The Empress meets her outside of her bedroom door with a bright smile, she is carrying a piece of clothing across her arm, "walk with me, miss." She says, turning to go down the hall.

She reaches the main door, and gives Oeyo what she is holding, it's a large cloak, "put this on and cover your head," she instructs as she unlocks the door
