When they arrive to the empresses room, Fumuki taps the door lightly with her first before entering, expecting Oeyo to follow, and bows once she is through the door, the empress smiles at both of them while she is being dressed by two other ladies in fine clothing, "good morning, Miss Kobai, did you sleep well?"

Oeyo gave a long bow. "Yes, your highness, I slept very well. Thank you." She smiled softly, still holding the tray of food.

Fukumi placed the tray on her table and motioned for Oeyo to do the same, she spoke lightly and respectfully to the empress "your highness, is there anything you would like us to do for you today?"

Empress Fujiwara nodded gently as a lady was putting decorative pins into her hair, "I am going to the new years festival in two days and would like to be prepared ahead of time, so as not to be late like last time," she said with a twinkle in her eyes like she had a secret joke, "I would like miss Kobai to accompany me along with two more of your choice, Fukumi."

She nods again as her ladies step away, her clothing complete, and she sits at her table, "you are deserving of some happiness, miss Kobai, and I have missed your visits"
