He couldn't focus for most of the day, but he kept trying to grade the last set of assignments. It didn't take long for him to give up.

After an entire work day of being entirely unproductive, Milo sighed and pulled up his email program on his laptop. He awkwardly started to type a message to Daniel, but found that it wasn't quite right. He started over again, but once again erased the entire message. He bit his lip in frustration, and finally managed to pen this acceptable message:

Daniel,

I'm sorry for the abruptness of my reply to you today. I was surprised and somewhat frightened by what you told me. This was not due to you, but instead due to some bad experiences in my past. I feel that I have made a mistake. Would you please meet me in my office tomorrow morning before class?

I look forward to speaking with you.

Though Daniel read the email, he decided not to respond to it, and instead turned off his laptop to sleep. He didn't intend to go, but his heart screamed for him to, so he decided that he would sleep on the deciaion.

The lack of response from Daniel worried him, but he tried to hold out hope that he would actually come.
