Her parents- well her mother, is a Moretti, the queen essentially, and no ones power is more than hers, Raven is next in line... And we are the ones who deal with vampire issues. For werewolves they have the same sort of thing basically, but we avoid them at all cost so you won't be around them..." He explained briefly
(Oh yeah, in my version wolves and vampires are essentially the same thing, shifters, but with different animals, wolves and vampire bats)

He thought for a moment, then stopped and closed his eyes for a moment, concentrated "if I try, I can hear... About a block away. Someone at the restaurant down the street is complaining that his tea is cold" he said, opening his eyes and smiling at her, he continues to walk again then with her in tow

She created this club for Vampires who wanted a place just for them, and helps anyone in trouble... She's really become quite the leader of the resistance to the queen since her husband died..." He said, they had reached the street now, he was eyeing her bike, wondering if it had room enough for two...

"Hold on tight (spider monkey- I mean...)" he told her before shooting off onto the road. He darted in and out of traffic going fast enough Mari wished she could see the speedometer, though if she could she would know it never dropped below 90 the entire way

"I can hear your heart racing" he said, smiling though she couldn't see it. He zoomed through town and then the next, and after a short time got to their town where he slowed down so he wouldn't cause any trouble
