I once wrote a short piece about a super hero and rival super villain who are both only teenagers and still have dinner together with their family each night. It's not great but you can read it here for referance to what I'm going for HereBeen thinking I want to expand that into a roleplay of super heroes and villains based in a single city. And, (I hope you're sitting down for this) I actually wanna put in a little romance. I know: Hiroku the cynic wants there to be romance in one of her roleplays? Could it be the end of the world? What has she been eating lately? Characters needed: the young hero, preferably female, her older sibling the super villain(brother or sister), and a mysterious newcomer super hero(anti-hero? Villain?) who came out of nowhere and rescued Young Hero in a previous encounter with her sibling. I'm open to it being more than a three person roleplay and having more heroes and villains running around with their own rivalries and relationships. I just want to hear from you guys if there's any interest. I won't even push the romance, I'm more interested in dynamic action and fun shenanigans.

I must admit I'm interested. Which roles are open?

Hello! Thank you for reading. The villain sibling is open for sure. I'm not certain if I want to play the mysterious savior or the Young Hero myself, I have to work out more details and such, but I always have trouble setting up a roleplay on my own. If you have any thoughts or want to suggest more characters and love interest and rivalries I'm chill.
The villain may need a sidekick who is in love with them as well for more romance running around. Who knows? Or the sidekick may secretly be trying to undermine the villain so that they may become the next arch villain?

Well, I have a lot of experience being a big sister in real life, and I'm sure there were a lot of times my sister thought I was a villain. I generally play female characters, I'm not very good at male. So let me know where you want me!

I'm a middle child myself so I can relate both ways. Ha ha.
Anywho, I'd like to offer the place of Older sibling Villain to you then, if you would like. Providing I get this idea off the ground.

Thanks. I've been keeping this on a back burner, so far nothing's come to mind to write down.

Wow, just went through a character/intro purge on my roleplay character document and found this piece, now I'm hyped up again, but still working on a proper intro Title: Wheatley Alter ego: Eugene Savers Age: 26 Sex: Male Abilities: opening portals on various surfaces. Durable, able to take a beating or a fall from a high height. Fairs much the same as any other human against sharp weapons or guns. Skills: A dead shot with a pistol. Equipment: Glock pistol, two flash grenades, two reg grenades Personality: Eugene is a somewhat dense but well meaning person, a little on the klutsy side, always ready with a smile and a helping hand. When on the job as Wheatley he is still ready to lend a hand but is more agile and focused on his mission. When friends or civilians are threatened Eugene can lose his cool and act before thinking things through, letting anger guide him.

I have a villain I want to play with but I don't know if it will fit. I came up with the concept ages ago, but it might be a bit too dramatic.

Title: Electrique Alter Ego: Katarina Beauchat Hero/Villain: former hero, now villain Age: 22 Sex: female Abilities: a former panther shape shifter, she still retains some of the ability, though she cannot completely shift anymore. She still has the hearing, sense of smell, and agility, but can only shift into cat ears, claws, nose, and tail. In her new villain persona, she keeps these hidden, and hardly uses them. Her new abilities, forced on her by an evil scientist/villain, are energy manipulation and the ability to sense/see energy within 100 feet of her. As she is now blind, this very much limits her perception of her surroundings. The further away, the harder it is for her to "see" the energy signature, and electricity is easier for her to see at longer distances than life energy. Inanimate objects barely register to her new senses, so when she doesn't have her special visor she has to use a cane. She can send bolts of electric energy at her enemies, but doing this too much or too far exhausts her quickly and leaves her vulnerable. Her energy bolts are usually a last resort. She prefers to fight with the metal claws on her gloves and the metal staff she carries, using those to conduct the electric flow she channels on a smaller but still effective scale. Skills: hand-to-hand combat and staff fighting, limited scientific ability (enough to create and maintain her suit and the specialized systems it contains) Equipment: a flexible suit with metal claws and plates, helmet with a visor that takes visual signatures and turns them into energy signatures on a screen she can "see." It only has the power to pick up objects within fifteen feet, but it keeps her from tripping or walking into walls. She has a five foot metal staff that collapses to one foot and attaches to a belt. The suit is not much protection against bullets or sharp objects, it is mainly designed to help her control the flow of her attacks, and where the energy goes. Personality: despite what many people think, she actually does have a conscience, and surprisingly very rarely injures civilians in her villainous deeds. She doesn't make this fact obvious, and does cause quite a bit of property damage and theft. She is slightly twisted from the months of torture she endured, her mind broken, and she holds a bitter hatred for superheroes. When not in her villain persona, she is quiet and keeps to herself, not really encouraging familiarity with anyone. Background: Katerina originally joined the superhero community at 17 as the shapeshifter Wildcat. She was innocent, eager, and slightly reckless in her search for justice. At the time, one of the major villains was a mad scientist called the Professor. When she was 18, she found out where his hideout was. She left a message for some of her allies to join her, and went to confront him. What she didn't know was the message cut off before she gave the location. At the Professor's lair, she was captured and kept as an experiment as he attempted to induce superpowers in her that she didn't have. She endured the first two months of him injecting her with serums and electrocuting her by telling herself her allies would come. One day, though, to finally break her spirit, the Professor showed her an article saying she had been proclaimed killed in the line of duty. This is what truly broke her, and she became a little insane for a while until she found her new focus: escape, kill the Professor, and seek revenge on the superheroes she believed abandoned her to this fate. A month and a half later, when the Professor left her for the night, he accidentally hit the button that would set the electrocution for full charge, and left it on all night. Rather than kill her, it finally reacted with the serum. She remained in agony, crying tears of acid. The tears blinded her and left scars on her face (see picture). Her formerly caramel skin turned pale, her black curly hair straightened and turned sapphire blue, her bright green eyes turned white. She lost her sight, but could see the energy in the room. When the Professor came in the next morning, she had broken free, and killed him with a massive jolt of energy. When she left his lair, she was unrecognizable, and used that to her advantage. Now she uses his lair as her own in her pursuit of revenge. Nobody knows she is Wildcat or Katerina, and she keeps the blindness of her villain persona secret, though her alter ego used a cane and wears dark glasses.
