"Alright," came Gabriel's voice as he returned. "The people have been alerted, and none complained too much. They're ready. Are we?"
Amelia nodded. "Get your spy, and we can be on our way."

Angelian nods a bit. "Ready when you are." She says and nods again. The sooner they got this done, the better. They were being smart about it. That was the good part. Going into the lions den so to speak wasn't their smartest move but it was the best move.

The funeral....she nods slightly at his words. Yes they had the funeral to do. Death...she hated it. Truly wished they could have saved him.

Jeremiah went to check on his security team, and the others were on their way back home, except Gabriel and
Maggie, who wanted to go for a walk first.

She accepts his hand and walks with him. Gently she rested her head on his shoulder a moment as they walked. There was much on her mind now. There was much to deal with still but for this moment, she would enjoy walking with him.

He couldn't resist watching her as they walked, his eyes crossing over her face, all its details. She truly was beautiful. He couldn't believe what all had happened.

She found herself blushing at his words. She smiles warmly. Had she truly never heard those words before? It felt as if she was hearing them for the first time in her entire life. "I love you as well.*

She smiles warmly again to him and stays close to his side. He had her heart ,that was for sure. Even with everything they would face soon, she felt strength because of him.

Soon, the castle got within sight, and Lucifer continued toward it and its familiarity. This place had been his home for so long, even though he had been forced out of it for a while. And now it was better, with a far bigger family, than before.... Even if the throne room area needed a few more days of repair.

Gabriel nodded and followed her to the meeting room. Once they got there, they sat down.
"I've been thinking," she began, "They're going to be expecting a vampire. They'll be prepared for us. Armed with stakes and fire and holy water, anything that they can use against us. Those humans can be good strategists, Ive seen them, and highly trained. And I'm worried that they might have inside information on us- That they found out about us because someone told them. If that's the case, they know all of our weaknesses. I'm thinking if bad goes to worse.... We may need to use something, someone that they're not expecting. That they can't prepare for."
"Alright, were you thinking anyone specific."
"Lycaon."
Gabriel's face immediately formed into one of shock.

Angelian sat quietly as she spoke. It was the idea of using the lycan though that did surprise her. Though at the same time it was a good idea but bad. She shakes her head a bit. "How do you plan on getting him to agree to such a thing? Something that would benefit those he was only created to destroy?"

"That would be impossible," she agreed. "He'd sooner kill us. Luckily, it's not just vampires renowned for a bloodlust. All that time locked up without being able to turn full wolf will have built up on him. Once he can turn, he will, and he'll go crazy, attacking everything nearby. If we released him at the UN.... The humans are strong and united. They wouldn't die, they could actually take him down. But they wouldn't be able to concentrate on us. So we slip through unnoticed, they take Lycaon off our hands -at least for now- and everyone survives. We just have to play it right."
"Amelia, his mere existence is the bane of ours. This is very risky. If the humans don't survive, we have their deaths to worry about- Hardly a peacemaker. If Lycaon escapes, all our trouble capturing him would have been nothing. And even if all goes well, do we really want him in the humans' hands?"

"Also not to mention you Would only be giving him another reason to hate us. I also agree with Gabriel. The very thing created to kill vampires in the hands of humans. I've seen what they do to things they think will help him. I don't like the guy anymore than the rest of you but I would never wish that torture on anyone. Also who's to say he won't make a deal with the humans to get back at us? It's very risky and could cause more of our destruction than actual saving us."

She nods a bit and managed to relax slightly. The idea of the lycan being free even for a second concerned her. He was too set in his ways. Or was there something else she wasn't seeing for why she would suggest it in the first place?

If there was, then she gave nothing away. Gabriel too seemed to be relieved at the thought of keeping Lycaon locked up. Just the idea of freeing the monster, the so-called 'bane of vampires'.... It didn't sit well with him.
