Hello! I'm new here, and I'm searching for any partners who would like to go on a 'five year mission' with me onboard the Enterprise. I'm hoping for my partner to play Bones (Dr. McCoy) while I play as a female OC. Now, I don't mind doubling up as one of the male canon characters for you -- Kirk, Spock, Sulu, Chekov, or Scotty... as long as you stick to playing Bones for me. It's only fair, right?
As a writing partner, I deliver long, detailed paragraphs, in-depth character(s), and decent spelling and grammar. Now that doesn't mean I'm looking for a novella roleplay - I'm just letting you guys know how I roll. So with that being said; here are my rules: I want my partner to give me at least 4-8+ solid paragraphs (2 is the minimum), have decent spelling and grammar, write in third person (past tense), realistic face-claims, heterosexual pairings only, keep the story moving, and to have fun!!
Now unto the fun part: STAR TREK!! *playing the theme song and rocking out to it*
I have tons of ideas that I have in mind, and would like to share them with you via PMs, if you're interested! Just hit me up here or inbox me, so we can get started. We can either do academy adventures, five year mission adventures, roleplay out the movies... I don't care, I just want to roleplay something fun and entertaining starring Bones and my OC.
Hope to hear from you soon!! - fandomchick

I would be more than willing to play bones. Majority of the time I have a similar expectation in my posts, so I think that we could be great writing partners. The doctor has a dry sense of humor and that would do well with me. Also a bit more driven by logic though we can't say he'd be nearly as logical as Spock. Just simply the fact that he argues with Spock is what makes him funny. I love the anti-technology side of him too. Bones is my favorite. A bit of a conspiracy theorist. Woot! Hardest part about him is that he has a bit of emotion though I don't see it being a big problem. He is a passionate person and having strong convictions is something I can write.
Just a quick question. Are you basing this more off of the new Star Trek movies or are we going back to the originals? I've seen them all but its been a while since I've reviewed the oldies. Then another question is how flexible are you with the ideas for stories? Would love to hear some of your ideas and see if there is something that we both would find interesting. Meeting any Klingons by chance? Those are always an exciting mix with the crew.

The newer films since all of my ideas are based from that specific timeline, but I don't mind doing the original series instead. To answer your second question, I'm very flexible when it comes to ideas. Unfortunately, I didn't come up with any Klingon ideas but I would love to add them.
Here are my more thought-out plots:
Idea 1. MC is the daughter of Captain Pike. She, McCoy and other science officers from the Enterprise are beamed down on a Class M planet to collect samples. Unfortunately, they are soon ambushed by a cannibalistic tribe of an unknown race. The group ultimately gets separated, and both Bones and MC are lost in the forest. They must find a way to stay alive until the Enterprise can find their signal.
Idea 2. It's been a week since the recapturing of Khan and the Enterprise is once again enlisting new graduated cadets to fill its roster before heading back into space. Ensign Rosalie Pike (MC) (daughter of deceased Captain Christopher Pike) has been assigned as a military weapons specialist, but has unfortunately been bumped down as a medical nurse under the command of Chief Medical Officer Dr. McCoy due to the position already been filled by Carol Marcus.
Unfortunately, she doesn't make it easy for Bones as she starts to argue and bicker with him, but he does have to admit--she is one damn good nurse; quick on her feet, very compassionate towards his patients, level-headed, and isn't afraid to stand up to him like most of the other nurses are. And not to mention, she's the most beautiful woman he has ever laid eyes on despite her stubbornness and sharp tongue, but it does make his job more interesting to say the least.
But that will soon change when the Enterprise somehow finds themselves in the mirror universe of the Terran Empire. There, the crew will have to battle their alto egos before they are permanently trapped in the violent universe forever and be enslaved, and most likely be executed.
Idea 3. The Enterprise crew is on a diplomatic mission to meet with a rich aristocrat/prince to make a deal with him, but unfortunately the mission goes wrong... The prince has ordered all the female crew members (the most beautiful ones) to be enslaved to him. In order to free the females, a male must choose which woman to fight for. Bones has always liked MC and so he fights in her honor to save her.

A mix of all three might be interesting. I like all the ideas and they could happen in order of idea 2 being first on the ship, then idea 3 is the mission they are about to be performing their mission and idea 1 is the final stretch of them getting back home.
Its ok to go with the newer films. As for Klingons we could introduce them on the journey home. Nothing like a great fight for MC to show her weapons ability.
