Wanna brainstorm some ideas for dark things?
I can think of self-harm, suicides, possibly bullying (that goes too far), rape.....

I know most about emotional abuse from peers that leads to suicidal tendencies. I could also do a character with an eating disorder?

I feel it would be more effective as a small group, but we'd need to all get together and plan out our characters so it doesn't get into a "my character's life sucks more than yours" battle.

Should we use a school setting? Because I think that would make sense/make things easier.
Also I kind of want this to be like "important" and not people just kind of screwing around and joking about everything..... If that makes sense...

School setting would work. Middle school or high school? Should it be a K-8 or K-12 type school?

Okay. I'm good with that. I had most of my problems from elementary through middle school, so my character will be dealing with the aftermath of bullying, trying to get over it.

Mine is just going to deal with crud from middle school and then other stuff that happened in high school.
Middle school being things like bullying, High school being when the "real" problems emerge. Stuff like cutting.

That sounds good. My character develops binge eating disorder in middle school and carries it with her into high school, so she isn't worry-free. Should they be friends? :3

One is a 1x1 the other a small group when we get someone else.

I think three or four total would work out. Yes, post here first so we can get a little dynamic thing between the characters before we start (such as if they are friends or what not).
PLEASE TAKE IT SERIOUSLY
I don't want people joking about on the rp and should follow the sites rules. I advise more than one sentence, but it's fine to have that every once in a while.

Can you use punctuation properly and try to make your character realistic, please? Some of your other role plays have seemed very rushed and not all that thought-out beforehand. |

The point isn't whether or not you can write dark things... It's your grammar and the realism of your characters. According to the rules of The Role Play Site, we're required to use proper grammar at all times, to the best of our abilities. For a roleplay like this, because of the dramatic and sensitive nature of the content, it is important to avoid over-dramatizing a character's struggles. Can you commit to exercising these necessary cautions?
