Well since I went ahead and registered I thought it would only be polite if I showed my face and said a very shy 'hi'.

While I sit here and try not to spontaneously combust or hyperventilate TOO badly, I suppose I should say a few words about myself.

I'm 24 years old, female, and a mother of a 14 month old baby whom I adore and who runs me ragged, and I love to draw and read (when I have time @.@) <3

I suppose I'd term myself as an experienced, middling RP-er. I've been RPing online in post-by-post format ever since I was 13 and it was my main hobby throughout school. Although I haven't RPed in a group or with strangers/new friends in several years, I have kept up my writing with my hubby - until lately when he had to switch jobs and we no longer have the time really to do that anymore (which prompted my search for somewhere to take my creative impulses). Because of the way life has arranged itself for me, I don't really have any groups of friends like I used to for an outlet for my creativity, and I miss writing, so when I found this site during an online search I was very happy to see how active this community still appears to be!

I'm painfully shy. Making friends, even online, is hard for me, so I do apologize if I seem nervous and... well, apologize a lot or use too many text-faces. ( XD and :3 tend to be my achilles' heel's)

I'm very anxious and excited about hopefully finding new blood to RP with... I love my hubby, but we seem to have fallen into the same old writing styles and routines and I'm looking forward to breaking out of my rut.


Because it HAS been a while since I've tried to write with anyone new, I'm embarrassed to admit that there are quite a few layers of rust on me and I beg all your patience while I chip them off again. 
Although I got my start RP original fantasy stories with friends, right now I'm afraid I'm a little attached to my fandom crutches; though my fandoms might be a little dated compared to what's popular at the moment. I tend to gravitate the most toward anthro and humanoid characters or universes that contain them. (I'm already a human being after all. Its fun to imagine what the life of a different sort of creature is like.) 
I'm not sure if I feel brave enough to list my very short list of fandoms though... I'm a little self-conscious about them ^^;

I'm looking forward to meeting all of you!

Hey I love to see new members. Never fear most of us I'm guessing are a little shy. I am just not in writing though. Its a great place to be vocal or more like read! Anyway would really like to do a role play with you and not to worry I have a lot of patience. Just hoping those that play with me have equal patience.

Hello Silence! Yes, I have to agree with you, I find it much easier to be confident speaking through text/a character than I do otherwise. And I appreciate your promise of patience. :3
What sorts of RP are you most interested in?

Well usually I play anything except witchcraft or romance. Not against romance just can't seem to get it right. The characters are about as awkward as I am with the idea.

I don't think I've ever RP'd witchcraft before. I've RP'd fantasy/fantasy settings where magic was used but that's about it. I suppose I'm pretty boring in my exposure, having mostly only RP'd fantasy and a few fandoms. I wouldn't mind trying something new so long as the other players involved didn't mind educating me. :3

I think the -idea- of romance is sort of cute but its not high on my list. I prefer if it happens at all that it comes about naturally, I've had too many potentially good stories ruined because they ended up being too focused on two characters and the story sort of ended up coming to a screeching halt. After a while it loses momentum and honestly... how many different ways are there to describe holding hands or admiring 'x' or 'y' or a kiss or what have you? X3

Never tried in depth descriptions of kisses. I don't think any characters of mine have...wait I have one that kisses his wife and held her hand once. Lol

Gosh its been a LONG time since I've done more than a 1x1 RP with anybody. I think I remember how it works though :3

Hmmmm besides some pretty limited fandoms (mostly due to my lack being 'out of the loop' for a while and not having many others to talk to lately I suspect) Nothing specific :3 I'm sort of the shy type so I'm just lurking and kind of sizing up the room so to speak, seeing what everyone else is in to at the moment :3 I'm definitely open to discussion though!
