Hello everyone! I'm pleased to join this board.
I suppose a little introduction is in order. My pseudonym is Katka Bosquet, as the internet knows. No worries, moderators, that is most definitely not my real name.
I am an avid writer, as I do enjoy creating stories with words. But bouncing ideas with yourself gets tiring after awhile, and I wanted to role play again, as I had a few years ago. Fortunately for me, my writing abilities have greatly improved!
I am 18 years old, and about to graduate high school, and going into college to become a pharmacist. I have many passions, and the three major ones are drugs (the legal kind!), music, and literature. I am also auditioning to be a part of a major college band as a bassoonist. (Very obscure instrument, haha.)
Anyways, enough about my home life, more about role playing! I began role playing nearly 10 years ago, on a little site many of you know: neopets. Yes, I was that obnoxious 8 year old who didn't know what she was writing. But we all had to start somewhere, right? I was on and off many years, with my busy life schedule. One of my biggest times of role playing was with a close friend of mine whom I had met at school, and we bounced role plays off of each other for quite some time, until she grew out of it. I will admit, most of my writing ability has surfaced from role playing, where I learned to control both my actions and my diction. One thing I've come to love about role playing through writing is that you can thoughtfully and carefully plan out each sentence, just the way you want it. I'm no die-hard, not to scare anyone away.
But I digress. I found this site through the ever-so-famous Google search engine, with a very basic search. I'm sure the forum gets a lot of coming and going from people, but I hope that I can stay here for a very long time. I'm sure one thing we all have in common is that we explicitly enjoy role playing.
I suppose I should also tell you about my role playing style. You probably already know that I'm quite literate. I enjoy almost any kind of role play that is achievable at this level- whether it is the common romance role play we all crave, or the intricate steam punk fantasy. I almost exclusively role play one on ones, or at least, I used to. With joining this site, I hope to try and integrate myself into more group-based role plays. (Although, I'm never sure how they work.)
