People come on at random times due to various time zones. They get on when they can, some more often than others.

Due to how this site is set up, it is not necessary for people to be on at once to rp, and replies for roleplays that take course over days tend to be nice and long.

Of course, there are rps that have shorter replies when people ARE on at the same time, and you will find threads that vary in style depending on the roleplayers involved.
