You guys can call me Kira, though.

I'm an amateur writer and have role played a bit, so I'm not a total noob, but I'm always willing to hear advice and get tips and criticism. I've never actually joined a site like this, so I'm a bit nervous, but I'm sure it'll be lots of fun.

I'm a girl, as you can tell from my name, and I'm 20 years old and a college student, studying psych (for now, at least), and hopefully working at a video game store soon. (I'm a bit of a gamer.) I'm friendly and like to write almost anything, but I tend to give my characters a bit of an attitude and make them sarcastic. I bleed a bit of my personality in to them on accident every once in a while. I'm easy to be friends with, though, and love talking to new people.

I, uh, guess that's it? Feel free to ask me anything, I'm a pretty open person.

Well, they actually say that a person's characters are actually just an exaggerated piece of themselves, so it makes sense that your characters sometimes act like you.
