Crosswire: Introduction!

Hello! My name is Crosswire40, please just call me Cross. I am a moderately experienced role-player although I have to say I'm much better with Original Characters but I can do canons, I just tend to interoperate them differently which hasn't gone over very well...

Not to say I do stupid or out of character things. A lot of the time I try to play characters too much in character and often I get stuck wondering what they'd say or do in simple situations that don't require much thought.

Outside of that I do enjoy good stories and while I'm not exactly a fantastic role-player I do take myself seriously (despite my tendency to crack jokes on occasion.

I enjoy anime mostly older ones, common anime like Naruto/bleach and such don’t really appeal to me. I prefer shorter but sweeter anime like Full Metal Panic and various OVA series like Area 88, Gundam 0080 and various others.

(I’m heavily considering starting a Full Metal Panic RP here if anyone is interested)

Now that I’m writing this I’m having difficulties remembering what I was going to say…

I too like the off beat animes, though admittedly I do like a few mainstream ones like Deathnote and fullmetal (Though I still generally prefer the manga)

I look forward to roleplaying with you. What kind of rps do you prefer? Fantasy? Medievil? Animal? Vampire? .... ?

Also, what are your opinions on Harry Potter?

Xela: Thanks for the heads up on the One X One but that’s how I found the site :3.
Kit: In terms of Rp’s I prefer Sci-fi’s or anywhere set someplace interesting. I’m not big into romance, I love character development and telling a good story however that’s what I love the most about Rping.
Harry Potter was a descent book series, however I never really liked how magic worked in that setting, I prefer my magic to be old and powerful, made from brews, rituals or brought out from extreme training.
On another note I like my RP’s serious and detailed, I hate one liner, card board cut out characters and boring plots.
Eagle: I will RP you when I get the chance, I have something…ambitious planned.

I’ve rethought my desires and I think I’ll tuck my FMP RP away for another time.
However I’ve been thinking of something else, A One Piece RP. -_- I know it’s not exactly serious, however it’s setting offer’s a LOT of opportunity for doing just about anything.
Here’s my plot. Keep I mind I want to avoid the usual faffing about people do so this RP shouldn’t involved any major canon characters, just our OC’s and our story.
