rp tips thread?

It's something I posted on another site.

Basically it is just a long post with different little tips that new roleplayers can use or things they should be aware of.

I don't want to just post it though... not unless it's okay with everyone here. I figured I could post it in the help thread.

The tips wouldn't have to be followed, but it might help newbies get their bearings faster.

Hm... what sort of tips would you suggest?

I was pretty much going to copy paste what I posted on my other site.

Topics include the concept of 'fluffing', using all five senses in your posts, marking off thoughts your character is having from the rest of the paragraph, spell checking, what a mary-sue is, and a short list of commonly misused Homophones. Stuff like that.

Hm... that actually sounds really interesting. We'd just have to make sure it didn't become some sort of a rant board about things that many role players do or don't do, that we think they should.
