I've had this idea for a new skin involving our picks of our favorite characters on the site that we have rped as. We use photobucket to combine all the pics into one and use it for a skin. Anyone else like this idea?

I vote no. 'Favorite' is relative and a busy background is a distracting background. Not to mention that people have different sized screens and may not even get to see their characters.
Also, it won't be fair to new members.

And not everyone has pictures of their characters. D; I don't really think this is a great idea. It would be difficult to create a color scheme as well.
