Hiya! I recently have started writing another short story and decided to give you all, my best friends, a sneak peek of the story that will be coming out here soon! Please let me know if you are interested and if this sneak peek catches your attention!
The Unnamed Empress
The meteorite had come from an unknown location overnight. Due to not wanting to cause curiosity and panic with the public, the FBI kept the meteorite secret from the media, calling in the SCP Foundation. The SCP Foundation’s job is to take unidentified objects/creatures that could potentially harm the human race and keep them stored in a lonely cell, away from the public’s view. They classify the creatures and objects with three simple words: Safe (Relatively harmless and understood), Euclid (Unpredictable and not understood), and Keter (Dangerous and very harmful to human life). The meteor’s classification would be decided by the top three scientists of the Foundation: Alyssa Simpleton, Kyle Cain, and Amy Miyamoto. Coming in contact with the space rock would change all of their lives for better or for worse. It will be a matter of opinion.
“Miyamoto, approach with caution.”
“Will do. You do the same, Simpleton.”
Of course, the three were not under prepared as they got closer to the meteor… In fact, they were far from it. They wore protective suits that bore a resemblance to the ones the Ebola Fighters of Africa wore, only a tad bit more secure and thick.
As Miyamoto got closer, the meteorite’s glowing blue color reminded her (And the other scientists as well) of a certain SCP they had seen and made contact with, SCP-1381.
SCP-1381 was a female creature that had the same body type as humans with many differences. Her eyes were violet with a slight glimmer in them, more beautiful than any humans eyes on the planet. She stood tall at 6’2, having longer legs than she had a torso. Her breasts were large but not abnormally so at 36 double D (Human size… SCP-1381 explained that on her planet they were quite small and below average size), though they didn’t seem to bother her or hurt her back in anyway, like a human girl’s chest would. She moved with ease, looking like a graceful swan every time she took a simple step. She wore her hair in a black bob cut that framed her face perfectly, which wasn’t too unusual… But her skin was certainly something else. It was a bright, sometimes glowing blue, same as the meteorite.
Just looking at it, Miyamoto could find it safe to assume that the meteorite had come from wherever SCP-1381 had come from. They’d soon find out for themselves where that was and how to get there.
