He removed his hand, cheeks flushing, and looked away shyly. "I... I don't need an answer right away, and.... and... I don't want you to feel uncomfortable around me, especially if you don't want..."

She set her tray down and gently took him by the shoulders, looking into his eyes. "Of course I want you, but..." She sighed, looking away. "...It is a bit daunting. What if the public or a member of staff found out? I would be removed from the palace and any hope of a life that I previously had would be dimisnhed."

He looked down to her sadly. "That's why I want you to think about it before you give me an answer, okay...? The risk for you is... so much higher than the risk for me. I would do my best to protect you, of course, and Luana would do the same... but... it's still a lot..."

She nodded again, smiling up to him. "I'll see you soon, Ambrose. Have a good rest of your day." She bowed again, picked the tray back up, and walked out of the room, her mind a big jumbled mess.

The palace was quiet for the rest of the day. Luana came up when it was bed time, trying her best to get a good nights sleep with her obstacle of a stomach in the way. Like she had been doing for a while now, nearly developing a habit, she got out of bed much earlier than the rest of the palace did, even earlier than some of the staff, and went to her study. Ambrose would be woken up a little over an hour later with a soft knock on the door, and Angie's soft and shy voice calling to him. "Your Highness, it's time to get dressed for the day!"

He woke groggily and rolled out of bed to go open the door. "Angie...? Thank you for coming, but Luana's been up for a while...."

She happily walked inside, going straight to the wardrobe and pulling out his clothes for the day. "I've been thinking a lot about last night, Ambrose, and I think I have my answer."
