Mimi looked up to her happily when she arrived and held out her arms, disguising the fact that she had been following Luana as best she could.

Luana practically jumped into her arms, pulling her down on the bed and kissing her softly.
Soon, months began to pass by quickly. Luana continued to live her the life the way she was taught to, tending to her royal duties while also balancing making time for both Ambrose and Mimi, visiting her parents regularly, coping with morning sickness, and keeping up with her frequent doctor visitations. She was about eight and a half months into the pregnancy now, and each time the baby moved, her heart skipped a beat. She still couldn't believe that she was going to be a mother in less than a month. It all seemed to fly by so fast.
On this morning, she was in her study, having a nice cup of peppermint tea. She had been preparing herself for taking over the throne for a while now, seeing as how her father seemed to be slowly declining further. It was stressful knowing that so many big changes were about to happen to her so quickly, but having a lover she genuinely cared about and a magnificent friend of a husband at her side helped her through it all.
