She nodded slowly. "I knew a girl back in my freshman year of high school who was thrown out of her house by her parents because she was different than them. She said she was glad that she wasnt allowed back and didnt miss it, but I could see that she was lying."

"Well... Different like me. You know, different music tastes, different sense of style, had an interest in Satanism and witchcraft. Her parents were good, hard working Christian folk who wanted their daughter to be just like them but when it became clear that she wouldnt be, they threw her onto the streets."
