She nodded, "That would make some level of sense..." she said with a sudden childish gleam in her eyes, like whatever she thought just then was exciting, "What is your name then?"

"Morioka. Morioka Yume." She smiled softly, bowing politely. "It is very nice to meet you."

"And you were... close, to Jun?" She asked in a giggly voice, completely different from the hard mask she had been wearing before, "No wonder he's been moping about so much"

"He's been moping...?" She frowns, looking down. "He probably hates me after I got Aika hurt."

Suddenly Yumiko began laughing uncontrollably, "Oh no, dear..." She finally said, sucking in a breath, "Aika is fine, I promise." She said, giggling a little more like a little girl

"But... But I saw how bad she was...! How can she be fine?" Her eyes started to tear up. "If it wasn't for me, she wouldn't have gotten hurt in the first place."

Yumiko raised an eyebrow and thought for a moment, "we... Have very good doctors." She said dismissively

She shook her head, wiping away her tears. "Even so, she shouldn't have had to gotten hurt in the first place..."

She sighed, "Jun really is an idiot..." She muttered, then stepped forward and wiped the girls tears from her face with the gentleness of a mother with a infant, then took her shoulders and sighed, calling out "Aika, come out here please."

Aika poked her head out shyly, a guilty expression on her face, though she was happy to see Yume again. She stepped out and bowed slightly to her, looking brand new, like she had the first time they met. "H-hello, Yume..."

Yume's eyes widened slightly as she looked at Aika. "W-What...? But how?"

Aika looked down at the floor and remained silent, not sure what Yumiko wanted her to say.

"We aren't exactly... normal." Yumiko said, sounding irritated as she crossed her arms, "And Jun should have known better than to get you involved without explaining what he is."

"What he is...? What is all of this? Where's Jun?"

She massaged her brow as she thought

"Surely you aren't that surprise, Yumiko," Aika said with a slight amount of solemnness in her tone before turning back to Yume, "He was worried for your safety, after the incident... It is easy to forget how delicate humans are and..."

"And before you know it, everyone you love is dead." The other woman finished, speaking about such a tragic thing in the most casual of tones.

Aika nodded, "It is lucky I was the one to get hit, miss..."

"You're not answering my question. Where did he go? And if everyone is so concerned about my safety why did you return here?"

"Because I didn't know!" She shot a glare at Aika with that

"I... I figured we wouldn't be long..." The girl told her shyly

Yumiko turned back to Yume, "I don't know that Jun would want you knowing where he is... Though... If someone was to... Follow us home..." She tapped a finger to her lips like she was pondering about something important

"And... Where is home for you...?"

"Ha! Nice try..." She said with a chuckle, "Besides, how would you even get to Takashima... And then to happen to find the famous Kou hotel..." she finished with a wink while Aika stifled a laugh. Yumiko turned to her servant, "We should go now, it was nice to meet you, Yume, I do hope to see you again."

Yume nodded, looking down at the ground. "Yes... It was nice to meet you."

Yumiko patted her shoulder like an old friend, then fitted her mean looking expression back on her face as she picked up her kimono and a single folder Aika held out to her, then headed out the door to the carriage that waited out front.

Yume stood there for a long while after they had gone, looking around the beautiful interior of the mansion. After about a half hour, she quickly returned home, making sure she had enough money to catch a boat the following day.

Early afternoon the next day, Yume made sure to catch the soonest boat to Takashima Island, her nerves taking her over. She didn't know why she was so nervous, but she supposed it had to do with seeing Jun again and unraveling the secret he had kept from her. She soon arrived at the island, getting off of the boat and searching for the Kou Hotel.

The Kou hotel was one of the most well known buildings in the island. It was a large building with hundreds of rooms and an old style architectural design. Signs advertised rooms with full services included, breakfast in the morning, and, the thing it was known for, an attached club that had live entertainment every night for VERY exclusive guests.

Yume eventually found it with help from the locals, wandering inside and looking around in awe.

"Hello, may I help you?" A cheery receptionist greeted her from the front desk

[HerWhisperIsTheLucifer]

"O-Oh, yes." She smiled back politely, though there was a hint of nervousness on her face still. "I would like a room for the night..."

The woman gave her a room key after receiving the money for it, then listed off what all the room included, "... If you wish to receive a key for our club, you will have to request one from our service desk if you meet the service desk a prove you are a member, Do enjoy your stay, miss." She finally ended with a small bow

Yume, nervous but also curious, slowly made her way to the service desk, approaching. "H-Hello... I was told to see you regarding my enterance into the club."
