Weeks pass, Hashimoto went back to his regular grumpy self, except now the woman was always in his mind. He tried to find her through secret agents and detectives, but spiraled further into a depressive state whenever they came up with nothing. Perhaps he had only dreamed or hallucinated the girl, she was dressed so oddly and acted so strangely... That thought only depressed him more. Soon, he became completely useless in his usual job, blowing off meetings and making his secretary put off his schedule, he would drink often, and when he wasn't drinking, he sat in the park watching the swans, and thinking of her, 'where are you?'

Tsugumi had spent her time wandering the city and giving people happiness, as was the usual for her. It was a while after their meeting when Tsugumi went to the park again. She stopped once she saw Ikuo sitting there by the pond, tilting her head. "How strange... I wonder if this is where his happiness manifests." She went up and stood behind him silently, expecting him to no longer be able to see her.
