Mio Morgrum lived a normal life with your typical fucked up family. Alcoholic mom and abusive, cheating dad. She lived her life under the radar, keeping her grades up and her head down.
It wasn't until she bumped into the devilishly Charming demon, Muse B, that her life finally turned upside down. Muse B is a demon on the run. Demons must consume a human soul at least once a decade but most take them for fun.
However, Koi proved to be daring and seemed to have an unhealthy obsession with getting himself in trouble. Mio soon learnt that muse B had taken an oath never to Hurt a human being.
Despite Muse B's intimidating eyes and Devilish grin, Mio finds herself falling for the demon. Only fate will decided whether he kills or protects her.
One night, an Angel appears before Mio and warns her of a darkness within Muse B. The Angel gives Mio the Holy Dagger - the only weapon that can defeat a Charming demon.
Will Mio find it in herself to kill the only creature who has ever made her feel truly Enthralled?

It was early June and school was out for the summer. Mio took the long way home to check out the ocean, hoping she would get a shot to see the sun set over the waters. The beach and the roads seemed empty with everyone getting ready for their graduation ceremonies and people already leaving for vacation. Mio took her time walking home, knowing she would either be greeted by drunken rage or silence. Hopefully it would be the later. Her hair hung long and loose around her waist and she was dressed in her plain school uniform and black shoes.  |

Greed walked down the sidewalk after having had started trouble with the security at town hall. He had a scratch on his cheek from the hit he took but showed it off, being proud of himself with a smile on his face. He was less aware of his surroundings and bumped into a short girl with beautiful blue hair, wearing a school uniform

Mio fell on the ground after she was bed into. Upon looking up she noticed the culprit was a boy who looked about her age with a cut across his cheek. "I... um.. I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going I guess.." she said a little nervously. There was something about his eyes that seemed to be drawing her in.

A smirk creeped up on Greeds face when he took a closer look at the girls features and her nervous response. Hunger was in his eyes, a hunger for her, he held out his hand to her so he could help her up and said “Don’t worry about it..I’m Greed by the way” he said holding that devilish smirk

Mio smiled happily at greeds agreement to let her show him around tomorrow when suddenly her phone began to ring. The call ID confirmed what she was afraid of, her mother. She reluctantly answered knowing the if she missed the call her punishment would be way worse. Before she barely got out a "hello" her mom was already screaming on the other end about her not being home and how much of a piece of crap Mio was. She felt embarrassed to be dealing with this in front of greed.

Greed looked at Mio as she was dealing with her mother and chuckled before shaking his head. He quickly snatched her phone and hung up with a smile “Let’s go for a walk” he said handing her phone back to her

"Alright." Mio said hesitantly, contemplating the later consciences that would come when she got home. Why did her mom have to get so mean when she drank? Why did she have to drink all the time? Why did her mom hate her so much?... these thoughts ran through her head as she numbly followed greed. She had only just met him yet he had just witnessed more than most people do concerning her life since she really didn't have friends.

Greed glanced at Mio as they walked aimlessly, he saw her aura and knew that she was troubled by her mom who was on the phone. He sighed before speaking not knowing why he was interested in the situation “What was the deal with that?...” he asked with subtlety

"It was my mom... she kind if drinks... a lot... so sometimes she gets irrationally mad at me... I thinking remind her of my dad too much." She said giving a forced smile and an awkward chuckle to lessen the unwanted pity she expected to receive when people meet her mom. She didn't like to be pitied for it.

Mio shook her head. "I'm alright, really." She said as she spun on her heel to face greed as she walked backwards. Her entire persona changed as if she flipped a switch and became this seemingly happy and cheerful girl. "I promised I'd show you around, might as well do that now." She said.

Mio grabbed greed by the hand and began pulling him along with her toward town. She didn't have much money so her mind was wondering, trying to decide the perfect places to take someone on a budget to impress them with their home town. Her hand stayed clasped around Greeds without her knowledge, being lost in thought. The hiking trails came to mind, the stars and moon illuminate the paths at night and the sun was starting to sink lower and lower beyond the horizon. "I got it, I'll show you what makes this town so worth it." She said beginning to pick up her pace.

Greed was liking how she stayed holding onto his hand as they ventured forth. He really didn’t care for the destination any more, looking forward to the journey he would have with Mio...and not only this one. He nearly tripped when she picked up pace again but was glad he had his inhuman reflexes. The near fall snapped him out of his thoughts and he was able to hear her remark. He guessed that this female would be like the others who he’s seen which were over materialistic “I don’t know if I want to go shopping Mio. He said awkwardly thinking that she was taking him to some great mall or shopping center

"Just follow me." Mio said leading him to the outskirts of town where a small path at the base of a tree line could be seen. The sun had set as twilight befell the town. An orange glow came from windows and street lights. The forest was illuminated by the moon.

After following the hiking trail for awhile, the majority of it being up hill, the reached an opening in the trees. The view was breath taking. The sound of rushing water and the scent of pine filled the night air. They had come to the top of a waterfall. The clearing was about an acher in size and had a river running through the center. The stars danced in the open sky and reflected in Mios eyes. "Well here it is. This is the most beautiful spot in the whole city and possibly the world. You won't find another like it." She said in her best sales pitch mocking voice.
