She tilts her head. "Something that will keep the ladys' focus and minds at ease because I'm sure like you and I they worry about the times when the princess is away." She smiles and began rattling off a list of different things they could all do today.

Mia nods softly to her. "Of course. The princess loves what you do in there." She says softly. Then nods, "I will see to the other ladies and then see what else needs to be done after that." She says.

Mia nods softly and smiles as she watched her go then she turns and heads back inside to see to the other ladies and needs of the house. Her mind though was on her princess's words. They bothered her but she would keep it from the others and make sure things were taken care of.

All of the girls worked diligently and quietly, not daring to ask about the princess. Most could tell that something was off, but none of them wanted to confront that feeling.

Mia managed to keep a smile on her face as she went about her own tasks for the day. She would check on the girls here and there. She could tell they were troubled and she wanted more than anything to be able to ease their minds. She wasn't sure how to do that just yet but she would try to think of something.
As they day went on ,she thought of the princess's request for her to look after the Lord and watch him. She realized she hadnt truly seen the male all day. Walking about the palace but making it seem that she was tending to her tasks as she walked.

Li Xi was in his room on his side of the palace, going through his room frantically with his robes messy and a bit undone on the top half. Li Xi was highly respected within the palace, and he was a favorite with all of the court ladies. He was charming and handsome, and he flaunted his looks quite often. All of his servant girls stood outside of his room, which had the door open, watching him fling his clothes from his wardrobe and dresser. He seemed to be searching for something, and was panicking because he could not find it. "Dammit, where is it...?!" He growled out of frustration and fell to his knees, rummaging through the pile of robes he had created.

Mia had just reached the hall and could hear the commotion that was going on in the male's room. She blinks a bit and watches at the end of the hall. This would definitely fall under the category of strange behavior.
Thinking it wise to stay away, she moves back down the hall and around the corner. What could possibly be driving the man to tear about his room in such a way? It made her uneasy and worry for the princess.

As she turned around, she bumped into Songli, who smiled up at her slightly. "I'm sorry...! I should watch where I'm going..." She blinked and looked around the corner, observing Li Xi as he flung things around. "How strange... Makes me wonder..."

She jumps a little as she bumped into Songli. Then tensed and started to urge the female out of sight before the male spotted them. She pauses slightly when she heard Songli's words. " Makes you wonder what?"

"Well, the princess left rather suddenly... And Li Xi is suspected to be her lover. I know the princess likely told you some sort of story about some sort of family affairs, but after seeing Li Xi like this, well... It makes me wonder if there is something more to all of this. What if Princess Taiping is in serious trouble?"

Mia tensed a bit, she wasn't liking what the other female was saying but she may be right.
She looks over her shoulder a little then back to the female. "Let's go back to the other ladies. He must not see us right now."

She nodded and followed behind her, keeping her hands folded in front of her and her eyes on the ground. She walked quietly, not saying another word but her mind thinking all the time.

Mia felt troubled and very worried for the princess now. It was a feeling in her gut that pulled at her. She pauses on their way back and looks to the younger female. "I worry as well for the princess. We ourselves must be carefully. Whatever he searches for, he wants badly. I don't know what it is. We must be careful and do all we can for the princess." She says. She said this not just for the female before her but because she needed to hear the words as well.

In the next few days, Mia remainder slightly nervous. No word had come from the princess and it was all she could do to avoid Li Xi at the moment. She was in the middle of working on her tasks and gett8ng the ladies started on theirs. She kept calm around them ,trying not to worry them anymore than they already were.

The ladies had all grown more and more anxious with each passing day. The princess had now been gone for two days and no one had heard from her. The ladies worked steadily like they always did, but Songli wasn't anywhere to be found.

Trying to keep the ladies calm was becoming harder and harder to do. Partly because she herself was becoming on edge. When Songli couldn't be found, her nervousness increased. She went in search of her, hoping to find the female safe.

The palace was eerily quiet, and there seemed to be no one around. Not even the servant girls were out and about. After a few more minutes, Songli called out to her and quickly ran over to her. "M-Mia...! I'm glad I found you..."

Everyone that resided within the palace had gathered around the emperor's most trusted guard, who was holding the princess's pale and limp body in his arms. "Do you all see this?" He shouted to everyone around him, "Take this as a warning to those of you who wish to plot against our mighty and divine emperor! Princess Taiping was selfish and wanted power. Instead she received a noose around her neck!" He threw her body to the ground and spat on it, his gaze drifting over the crowd. "Li Xi has also left the palace, but rest assured, we are searching for him as well. If we find one of you hiding him in a family home elsewhere, you will receive the same fate as him and Princess Taiping. Be very wary from now on, you all!" He chuckled.

Several emotions went through her in a rush at the sight of the princess. No...not this. She wanted to break down crying but she knew she couldn't right now. Not now. The ladies, she had to protect them and get them safe. If they believed the princess to be a traitor, her ladies in waiting would be next. Li Xi missing also didn't help this matter either. Gently she gripped Songli hand gently. "Be strong."

"M-Mia... She was planning on killing the emperor..." She wiped a tear from her eye, "...They forced her to hang herself, chased her all the way to her family home and killed the others who lived there too..."
