Chi sighed and stepped forward, grabbing the frail and painfully thin woman and pulling her out of the corner. "William, go get Nekoro's ring. We'll start here."

"I already have it here... I always do," he replied, reaching under his shirt. He pulled out the ring, which he had hung on a simple fine chain around his neck. The ring he quickly removed, and he handed it to Chi.

William approached Sara and picked her up, then placed her on the table.

She kicked and scratched at him, tears coming to her eyes. "We were supposed to be together...!"
Charlotte pushed her so she laid flat on her back then looked to Chi, who nodded. Charlotte closed her eyes and held her hands over Sara, who went still. "W-What...? I can't move...! William, please! You can't let them do this to me!"

After a few more minutes, Chi took the ring from him and handed it to Charlotte. She raised the dagger up as high as she could and allowed Sara to let out a final scream before stabbing her directly in the heart. Charlotte opened her eyes and set the ring down, cupping her hands together. When she opened them again, a glowing gold orb hovered in her palm, which she placed inside the ring.
